WAGO ETS Plug-In/WAGO BACnet Configurator Description WAGO ETS Plug-In Description WAGO BACnet Configurator The WAGO ETS Plug-In is an ETS product database extension that allows the use of WAGO products, such as: the 7-66 KN/EIB/TP Module, the KN IP Controller as well as the KNnet/IP Router (consisting of KN module and KN IP Controller). This ETS extension represents the type of control software that gives the ETS access to new options for WAGO devices and enables their configuration. The software s enhanced structure offers intuitive navigation providing both experienced ETS users and newcomers with exceptional usability. A key feature of the KN/EIB/TP Module or controller software is that the PLC variables : are mapped in the communication objects of the ETS. When a group address is assigned for the first time, the communication object is made visible within the ETS. When the objects are disconnected again, they are no longer visible within the ETS. The WAGO BACnet Configurator is an independent commissioning, configuration and management software. Among the configurator s capabilities are the logical structuring of the project and network, addressing of the controller and configuration of the client and the server in every BACnet/IP Controller. The representation of the devices, objects and configuration data is done in a logical, structured network and an IP view, which is divided into client/server function and its location in the building. The configurator displays all configuration data. The user may change the data, load it onto either one, or several, controllers and save it in an override file. The configurator provides a browser to view the BACnet object properties and modify the current parameters (communicate value changes, write property values, utilize BACnet services, etc.). Additionally, a LOG window is also available for client services. System requirements: Operating System: Windows 98, Windows 000, Windows P (P recommended) Other: The Plug-In requires the ETS in version.0d System requirements: Operating System: Windows 000/P The ETS Plug-In can be downloaded for free. see: The WAGO BACnet Configurator can be downloaded for free. see:

08 IP67The New Performance Standard The trend toward decentralization requires increasingly powerful IP67 solutions. In addition to installing components directly on a machine (which saves space as well as overall switch cabinet costs), there is a growing need to divide installations into function s. This allows them to be jointly operated, while developing, testing, producing and extending them individually. This requires IP67 systems that are just as flexible and functional as current IP0 systems. Both the consideration and synergies resulting from these characteristics form the unique mechatronic basis for the WAGO SPEEDWAY 767. In addition to the features of a standard fieldbus component, a distributed programmable solution to IEC 6- has been created for demanding control and communication tasks.

Overview of system features 09 Short cycle times Expedites preprocessing and data transmission WAGO-DSC (Digital System Control) Improves the data transmission rate depending on the system requirements Synchrony Supplies time-synchronous collection and transmission of signals Safety feature Transmits safety-relevant data deep into the field level CoDeSys.x programmable (IEC6-) Provides signal pre-processing, relief of higher-level control systems and improved system availability FDT/DTM parameterization For multi-vendor device management Asynchronous and synchronous diagnostics Performs rapid, precise error analysis and reduces shutdown times USB interface Standardizes access during parameterization and programming Temperature range from C to +60 C Ideal for extreme environments IP67 degree of protection, fully encapsulated Ensures uncompromising safety in the harshest conditions Modular design Allows on-site signal acquisition and transmission according to user requirements Fieldbus independent Accommodates an increasingly wide variety of installation requirements Screw and DIN-rail mounting Enables the flexible installation of modules Excellent EMC protection Electromagnetic compatibility safeguards the application Effective power supply concept Conveniently powers modules Standard connection technology (Plug & Play) Supplies all components with easy and safe connections Ergonomic design Design clearly identifies all indications and markings

00 Improved features Performance WAGO-DSC (Digital System Control) Synchronous, highly accurate signal processing Cycle times < 00 µs Capacity Temperature range from C to +60 C IP67 degree of protection Excellent EMC protection Fully encapsulated Ergonomy

0 Functionality Integrated safety features Synchronous and asynchronous diagnostics Programmable and configurable Connectivity Open for all fieldbus systems Standard connection technology USB interface Innovative marking options Ergonomic design Variable mounting options

0 Improved data transmission WAGO-DSC (Digital System Control) Time-synchronous collection and transmission of signals Jitter/Skew < µs Low latency Example: digital signals < 00 µs * 6 analog signals < ms * digital signals and 8 analog signals < 0 µs * * Worst case (at a maximum total system extension of 00 meters) Cycle time [µsec] Digital Analog Number of signals _ + _ 0 00

Up to the physical limit 0 Modern ETHERNET-based fieldbus systems such as PROFINET, Powerlink and SERCOS III provide for data communication performance and an application range that greatly exceeds those found in standard PLC systems. The communication bottleneck between the fieldbus system and the sensors/actuators has been eliminated by improving the following four features of the remote WAGO SPEEDWAY 767 I/O system: WAGO-DSC (Digital System Control) Maximum speed up to the physical limit: Depending on the installation type, WAGO SPEEDWAY 767 can automatically determine the maximum data rate at startup and optimize set data transmission. Using speed control, the cycle times for installations with short cable runs can be reduced significantly as compared to the times stated in the Data Transmission Example. Even at a maximum extension of 00 meters, control loops, motion controls and rapid metering of signal acquisition can be performed via fieldbus. This results in considerably easier and less expensive automation solutions. Synchrony WAGO SPEEDWAY 767 also provides time-synchronous signal acquisition and transmission. This is completed by the trigger being sent to either the fieldbus system clock or to another external time base. Jitter/Skew Control algorithms can only be performed if the acquisition times are equidistant to the control variable. WAGO SPEEDWAY 767 has a jitter of < µs, which provides the highest levels of control quality. Triggering the signals (Skew), which are distributed over the whole system, is completed using the same precision of < µs. Latency In data communication, control and regulation delays are undesirable but theoretically inevitable. The WAGO SPEEDWAY 767 system latency is minimal and constant.

0 Improved, local signal acquisition/transmission Performance parameters Up to: 6 I/O modules per station 8 channels per module 0 channels per station 00 m total extension per station 0 m between two modules Fieldbus coupler/controller module System bus Spacer module Total Fieldbus USB interface Safety module

0 Consistently modular for maximum efficiency The system has a consistent modular design: I/O modules are used for the modular extension of fieldbus couplers and IEC6- programmable fieldbus couplers. Only two lines (communication, supply) are required for connecting the system, so that processing I/O signals can be directly performed on site, even when mounted in very different ways. When installed in areas of high signal concentration, the modules can be mounted in a horizontal and/or a vertical position for maximum space efficiency. Additionally, the 767's modularity ensures that the acquisition of a few, but widely distributed signals, can also be easily performed. Consider expensive field wiring or space-related problems in switch cabinets a thing of the past. extention 00 m Power distribution module Additional supply I/O module
