2 StandardAero SAFECRAFT A portfolio of safety technologies focused on incident prevention Operators are able to select items from the SAFECRAFT portfolio based on individual aircraft configuration, mission requirements and budget. The SAFECRAFT portfolio of STC-certified safety technologies is offered either as a fullyinstalled solution or as a retrofit kit, depending on the items selected. New technologies and options will be added to the SAFECRAFT portfolio in response to customer demand and future changes in regulatory requirements.

3 BLR FASTFIN Tail rotor enhancement and stability system The System is available for all models of AS350, and certified performance is available for the B1, B2, B3 and H125/B3e FastFin uses advanced airflow management to increase the effectiveness of the AS350 anti-torque system for significant increases to hover load and stability. It does not modify the vertical fin, but is comprised of an Advanced Tailboom Aerodynamic Cowling (ATAC), a Tailboom Strake and Vortex Generators. When installed, this equipment will bring aircraft seating up to the same safety standards as new-build aircraft. Energy attenuating seat retrofits will be available for pilot, co-pilot and passenger seating. The system utilizes a very low frequency receiver to sense electromagnetic fields from power lines and provides the pilot with audio and visual warnings. Technical features Warning light illuminates whenever aircraft is in proximity to power lines Audio warning increases in frequency as the power line gets closer (Audio output can be muted if desired) System sensitivity is adjustable Incorporates self-test feature All worldwide power frequencies are accommodated System is small in size and lightweight (14 oz / 400 g) COLLECTIVE CUEING SYSTEM Control column shaker for enhanced situational awareness Safe Flight Instrument Corporation s Tactile Cueing System (stick shaker) provides proactive warning of operations approaching engine/airframe limitations. Allows for more eyes out operations and greatly assists with external load and confined area operations. The system monitors engine/ airframe limits (torque, EGT, N1, NR), providing warning when limits are approached. Stick shaker approach provides unmistakable warnings: - Low speed shake warns that limit is being approached - High speed shake warns that limit has been reached/exceeded Helps prevent exceedances and violation of aircraft limitations Does not interfere with normal collective operation
