12 Malcolm Harkins - Keynote Malcolm Harkins is the Chief Security and Trust Officer at Cylance Inc. In this role he reports to the CEO and is responsible for enabling business growth through trusted infrastructure, systems and business processes. He has direct organizational responsibility for information technology, information risk and security, as well as security and privacy policy. Harkins is also responsible for peer outreach activities to drive improvement across the world in the understanding of cyber-risks as well as best practices to manage and mitigate those risks. Previously Harkins was Vice President and Chief Security and Privacy Officer (CSPO) at Intel Corporation. Malcolm was a contributing author to IT Privacy, a Handbook for Technologists, published by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (2014). In 2012 he published his first book, Managing Risk and Information Security, Protect to Enable. He regularly speaks at leading cybersecurity events and writes articles and white papers.

13 Call for Speakers New deadline for Speaker submissions is August 1, Presentation decisions will be sent out by August 22, If accepted, you will be required provide a.pdf copy of your presentation by October 1st, 2018 (Without Exception) The Triangle InfoSeCon planning committee is calling for presentations without specifying the tracks in advance. The committee will formulate the tracks after evaluating the submissions. 19 Tonight s Presentation What can we learn from the intelligence community and Dr. Sheldon Cooper about security? Bob Usher Garrison Technology Bob has over 20 years of information security experience. He is a former CISSP, MCSE and GSEC and has held consulting roles at large financial institutions. Prior to joining Garrison Technology, he led global distribution for a large manufacturer of cyber range, testing and network intercept equipment. He has held positions at leading security providers, such as Symantec and McAfee, working with regional and global organizations on compliance and security.
