3 Background International and National Background Since June 2005 Luxemburg is the 17 th member of the European Space Agency (ESA). In the past twenty years EURO-COMPOSITES has acquired a high level of experience in composites mainly for aerospace business. EURO-COMPOSITES has started with honeycomb core production and has determinedly evolved into high-tech composite solutions. Our continuous broadening of the product range and investment in production facilities makes us today a competitive business partner. The unique opportunity of the Luxemburg ESA membership is an additional driving force to enter the space industry.
