However, the traditional wired communication systems as well as VHF/UHF based trainto-ground mobile radio systems have placed restrictions to the development of railway operational communications. Therefore, a future-oriented train-to-ground radio network and reliable connections for operational communications are urgently needed, to boost rail mobility in a cost-efficient way. Huawei Railway Operational Communication Solution Huawei s Railway Operational Communication Solution is designed to reduce unscheduled service interrupts and provide enhanced communications for dispatchers, maintenance, and service personnel, thanks to a complete set of self-developed products (GSM-R, transmission, power, IP products, etc.).
