9 Computed Tomography (CT) CT utilizes 3D-imaging and detection software to help operators automatically identify threats and eliminate the need for divestiture of electronics for carry-on passenger baggage screening. PSP will be testing CT against AT-2 requirements. 13 Establishment of Future Acquisition Programs TSA plans to sunset the existing Passenger Screening Program and initiate new efforts featuring new screening capability technologies, equipment, and engineering initiatives. Prospective New Programs: 1. Primary Passenger Screening (PPS) will consist of replacement capabilities for AIT, CAT, and WTMD 2. Accessible Property Screening System (APSS) will consist of replacement capabilities for BLS, AT, and secondary screening (e.g., CT technology) 3. Alarm Resolution Program (ARP) will consist of replacement capabilities for ETD 4. Automated Screening Lanes (ASLs) will consist of modification of existing carry-on baggage screening lanes to automate elements of the screening process 13
