2 NordicWay includes 1 C-ITS corridor pilot, 4 countries of Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden, 2000 users on Nordic roads. NordicWay pilots 3 core services are 1. cooperative hazardous location warning 2. cooperative weather and slippery road warning 3. probe data services. NordicWay is a PoC of Cellular C-ITS service utilising 3G and 4G/LTE communication.. NordicWay offers users interoperable services and builds business model and ecosystem for the data value chain and stakeholders

3 Cellular/Hybrid C-ITS for the transport system Vision of Mobility as a Service and the EC White paper on transport to halve the use of conventionally fuelled cars in urban transport by 2030 Megatrend urbanisation and trends such as IoT, M2M and crowdsourcing Future transport is automated and autonomous as new vehicles roll on to the streets of Europe
