16 Starwood Energy Group Siemens/EMI/CB&I The master development proposed by the Starwood Siemens Team will bring 643 MW of instate power production from both renewable and clean natural gas sources, and represent a more than $1 billion energy infrastructure investment in the state. Energy from solar, biomass and efficient combined cycle gas plants in three phases: Phase 1) 13MW Solar PV (photovoltaic) array beginning 2014 Phase 2) 30MW Biomass Plant beginning 2016 Phase 3) 600MW (CCGT) Combined Cycle Gas Turbine plant beginning direct construction jobs, 350 indirect jobs and more than 1,500 indirect support services jobs The project will also bring much needed energy security to this critical military facility while also providing secure power to the homes and businesses of New Jersey residents. This project is supported by the Governor, the Board of Public Utilities (BPU), the local community and the Public Power Association of New Jersey, which represents 10 Burroughs and over 75,000 homes and businesses across New Jersey. 16
