Furthermore, they determine the specific programming function- interfaces to layout, calculate and simulate the products.

3 Part 1: Concepts, architecture and model overview about the standard, and the rationale for its elements, meta model for describing the product classes DIS Ballot was finished on Jan 9, 2014 Document was accepted, but one no-vote (UK) and considerable comments from the US On Feb 14 and March 7: Web meetings with UK and US representatives, where most concerns could be removed. One further call with UK (Hywel Davies) will follow because he had technical problems in participation. Plan: Produce comment resolution proposals (comment spreadsheet) and send them around within WG 11 for WG internal approval (April)

Under development: First XML schema for the description of the product groups Draft version will be available in autumn 2014
