30 AGNIS Submit Basics Can submit a new form or update an existing form The form must be due or started in FormsNet2. Message validation is done by AGNIS AGNIS status t Rejected Errors in the syntax of the message Errors in the semantics of the message (invalid values)

31 More Data validation is done by FormsNet2 AGNIS status: t Accepted or Accepted with Error FormsNet2 errors are returned For updates, must submit the Sequence number of the form Returned by AGNIS on an initial submission Forms started will show up on Forms Due Report

32 Using AGNIS with FormsNet2 Can use AGNIS in conjunction with FormsNet2 Can start a form in AGNIS and complete in FormsNet2, or vice versa Can submit partial forms through AGNIS (only the data available locally) AGNIS has checks in place to avoid over-writing data entered in FormsNet

33 Local Processes Manage what is sent via AGNIS Transform data to AGNIS format Trigger the Staging Client, or call AGNIS web services Handle the return from AGNIS Form validation errors Form sequence number Indication that a form already exists Possibly store fields not available a ab locally

34 Considerations What is the system of record? For data in your local l system that t are sent to FormsNet2 through AGNIS, go back to the local system to make updates then submit the form through AGNIS again. If you don t have corresponding data in your local system and you enter directly into FormsNet2, make updates in FormsNet2.
