2 TOON BOOM HARMONY Toon Boom Harmony is the animation software used by studios and individuals worldwide. 3 GENERAL GUIDELINES Visual space should be clean and free of distractions. A single visual with a generous amount of white space is preferred for any advertisement. MESSAGING A Harmony message focuses on a single, prominent title, plus a possible subtitle or a small amount of supporting text. 3

4 COLOUR PALETTE When representing Harmony, use grey text on a white canvas. Colour may be used for titles, use official Harmony colours when designing for Harmony. Use Toon Boom colours when referring to Toom Boom Products as a whole. Web layouts should follow the above guidelines. Fonts can be found in MCCS > Marketing > Corporate > Fonts MAIN TITLE AVENIR LIGHT 35 ALL CAPS SUBTITLE AVENIR 65 ALL CAPS Regular body text uses Avenir Light 35, point size is generally 10 or 11, and usually grey (C0,M0,Y0,K90). 5 THE HARMONY LOGO There are two official Harmony logos, A vertical and a horizontal logo, each with three colour versions (six total): Colour version, for use on a white background (preferred). Black version, for use in the case when colour and white are not an option. White version, for use on a dark or coloured background. Logos can be found in MCCS > Marketing > Harmony > Product Identification > Logo VERTICAL LOGOS HORIZONTAL LOGOS 5

6 HARMONY EDITIONS There are three edition logos, each with their own logos in vertical as well as horizontal. Each logo has a colour, black, and white version. Most of the time, you should use the colour versions, and only in situations where colour is not allowed, use the black or white ones. VERTICAL EDITION LOGOS HORIZONTAL EDITION LOGOS 6

7 LOGO SPACING The Harmony logo should not be crowded. Be sure to always leave space around the logo for maximum visibility. Here are some general guidelines to follow for the space surrounding the logo, but more should be given for optimal visibility. The H is used to show the spacing between elements. ICON The Harmony icon is the 3 triangle peices of the Harmony logo. If you need to use the edition icons, do so, but try to use the family icon more. The more it gets used, the better but remember to leave ample whitespace. Desktop (modular) icons are also available. Do not use modular icons for general representation of Harmony. Modular icons may be used when appropriate for describing modules. Product icons can be found in MCCS > Marketing > Harmony > Product Identification > Icon Product 7

8 DECORATIVE ARTWORK Triangles are the theme of the logo, so you may use geometric triangles to make a visual as needed per project. There are a few triangle versions of artwork you may use. If you must make your own design, please make sure everything lines up and is symmetrical. You may have the artwork bleeding off the edge and leave ample white space in your document. You may use the triangle design in white as well, see the examples below.
