1.0 Software Overview PyrOptix Reporting and Analytics software is a tool that can be used in conjunction with our image processing software to give users complete control over their data.

3 1.0 Software Overview PyrOptix Reporting and Analytics software is a tool that can be used in conjunction with our image processing software to give users complete control over their data. With this tool you can compress an entire day of data into a 1-minute video clip, making it much easier to digest. The software utilizes Windows task scheduler to run automatically each morning at 12:05. After the software is configured through the settings menu, the reports will be generated automatically and there is no need to interface with the software further. 5 2.0 Report Generation Settings 2.1 Basic Options Settings Basic Options Hide Grid: Hides the grid on the Time-Lapse Report Create Snapshot Time-lapse: Creates a time-lapse consisting of the raw snapshots Create Selected Frames Time-lapse: Creates a time-lapse consisting of the selected frames Add Overlays to Selected Frames: Adds the overlays used for processing to the selected frames on the time-lapse report (Note: This only applies to the selected frames on the time-lapse report) Create Detected Frames Time-lapse: Creates a time-lapse consisting of the detected frames Add Overlays to Detected Frames: Adds the overlays used for processing to the detected frames on the time-lapse report (Note: This only applies to the detected frames on the time-lapse report) Create Time-lapse Report: Creates a time-lapse video report that shows the detected and selected frame as well as the zone data with a tracking timeline PyrOptix IPS Reporter v2.0 (360) Support@enertechnix.com pg. 3

2.2 Advanced Options Settings - Advanced Options Frame Rate (fps): The playback rate of the videos Percentage of Images to Include: The percent of images captured the previous day that will be used

Reducing this effectively increases the speed of the time-lapse. Running Ave: Number of data points to be included in the running average that is applied to the data charts Software Version: This parameter should match whatever version of the software your machine is running. If you are unsure of what software you are running, check the help menu on the that software. Data Storage File Path: This needs to point to the data folder of the image processing software that is running on your machine. If you are unsure where that is, check the settings panel of that software. 8 2.4 Settings Settings Settings Send Report?: When enabled, this will send an report using the parameters defined below Attach CSV Log: When enabled, this will attach the csv file the image processing software generates Attach Metrics Log: When enabled, this will attach a csv file that includes the metrics generated from the reporting software Attach Compressed Report: When enabled, this will attach a compressed version of the Time- Lapse report Compression Level: Determines the level of compression to be applied to the time-lapse report Site Name: Specifies the site name which will be used in the subject line Send To: Species the address(es) to send the report out to PyrOptix IPS Reporter v2.0 (360) Support@enertechnix.com pg. 6

9 3.0 Report Upload Options 3.1 FTP/SFTP Settings FTP/SFTP Settings Upload Options: Selects whether to upload to an FTP, SFTP, or no server at all Upload Regular Snap Time-lapse: When enabled, this will upload the regular snap time-lapse to the selected S/FTP server Upload Full Report Time-lapse: When enabled, this will upload the full report time-lapse to the selected S/FTP server Upload CSV Log: When enabled, this will upload csv log to the selected S/FTP server Remote Host: Specifies the S/FTP host Username: Specifies the username for the S/FTP server Port: Specifies the port for the S/FTP server Password: Specifies the password for the S/FTP server Remote File Path: Specifies the file path to upload to on the server PyrOptix IPS Reporter v2.0 (360) pg. 7

12 4.0 FAQ and Troubleshooting 4.1. Troubleshooting FAQ Q: I copied the video to a thumb drive to watch on a different computer, but it won t play. How can I get the video to play on my other machine? A: This is likely due to the video codec. You may need to use a different media player (like VLC) or you will need to install the codec that was chosen in the settings menu. A free package can be found on the K-Lite Codec Pack website. Q: I want to start storing the data somewhere else, how do I do it? A: You will need to change the data folder location within the image processing software. Please check out the manual for that software for more information on that process. Once you have changed the location of the data folder, you will also need to update the data folder path in this software, as seen in section 2.2.
