1 Official Rules and Regulations Find Yer Fortune Online Promotion September 6 to September 26, 2009 OLG Slots & OLG Casinos PROMOTION ELIGIBILITY, CHANCES OF WINNING, AND SKILL TESTING QUESTION: 1. This promotion is sponsored by the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation (OLG) and is open to residents of Canada and the United States of America, who are Winner s Circle Rewards members who are nineteen (19) years of age or older (excluding all selfexcluded or trespassed members), except employees of any of the following: OLG, the Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario, and OLG s advertising, promotion and contest management agencies. No purchase necessary. 2. There is no fee payable to obtain a Winner s Circle Rewards membership, but OLG is not responsible for any delays in processing membership applications. 3. In order to be declared a winner, the selected entrant may be required to answer a time limited mathematical skill-testing question. All answers are final, and if incorrect, the selected entrant will not receive the prize. 4. Except as otherwise specified in these Official Rules and Regulations, this promotion takes place at each of the following OLG Casinos: Brantford, Point Edward, Sault Ste. Marie, Thousand Islands, Thunder Bay, and each of the following OLG Slots: Ajax, Clinton, Dresden, Flamboro, Fort Erie, Georgian, Grand River, Hanover, Hiawatha, Kawartha, Mohawk, Rideau Carleton, Sudbury, Western Fair, Windsor, Woodbine, Woodstock (each, a Site, and, collectively the Sites ). 5. The Find Yer Fortune ONLINE promotion is open to all Winner s Circle Rewards members who have activated an online account prior to or during the promotional period as described in Rule # OLG is not responsible for any delays in processing new addresses or delays in online database entries and/or uploads and updates. 7. Eligible Winner s Circle Rewards members who provided an address prior to September 1, 2009 will receive an directing them to to participate. This will deploy on September 6, 2009 to approximately 62,500 members as determined by OLG based on OLG s database of online records. The only way to be selected for the mailing list of the as described in Rule #7 is to satisfy the following criteria: 8.1. To be a Winner s Circle Rewards member with an active account status (as determined by OLG) as of September 1, 2009 who has provided a valid address and consent. 9. The chances of winning a prize in the Find Yer Fortune ONLINE promotion is dependent on the number of online ballot entries that are accumulated during the promotional periods as out lined in Rule #13 HOW TO ENTER: (NO PURCHASE NECESSARY): 10. The promotional period for the Find Yer Fortune ONLINE promotion is September 6, 2009 to September 26, 2009 at 11:59:59 pm. 11. There is one (1) way to participate as follows: Beginning on September 6, 2009 up to and including September 26, 2009 eligible members, as described in Rule #5, will visit and log in to their account. Members will then select one of seven (7) treasure chests randomly located on the website. The treasure chests will contain the following: One ballot entry (six treasure chests) Five ballot entries (one treasure chest) 12. Eligible members may play the Find Yer Fortune ONLINE promotion one (1) time per promotional day from 12:00am to 11:59pm during each day of the promotional period. WEEKLY PRIZE DRAWS 13. The weekly prize allocations and dates are as follows: Week 1 September 6 12 one (1) five hundred dollar cash prize ($500.00CAD) Week 2 September one (1) five hundred dollar cash prize ($500.00CAD) Week 3 September one (1) five hundred dollar cash prize ($500.00CAD) 14. Each week one (1) primary entry will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received by Saturday September (12, 19 and 26) at 11:59pm during each promotion week. 15. Three (3) back-up entries will be randomly drawn, at the time of the draw, to provide for contingency, in the event that the principle-selected entrant, for the prize is disqualified. 16. Ballots are cumulative for that week of the promotional periods as outlined in Rule #13. Ballots will not be cumulative for following weeks. All accumulated ballots will remain in drawing for the Grand Prize draw as outlined in Rule # Members are eligible to win 1 or more of the weekly prizes. 2

3 18. Sites will be notified of the winners each week on or before the following promotional weeks draw. 19. Winners will be contacted by phone or by . Entrants have seventy-two (72) hours to return any messages left by the Site. A selected entrant will have thirty (30) days to redeem their prize at the designated Site once they have been contacted. The Winner s Circle Player Service Representative or above will verify the patrons ID and issue a manual prize voucher for the prize amount. 20. Members who have indicated no phone consent and no consent on their account may NOT be telephoned or ed by the Site to be advised of their prize, and if they have no other contact with the Site within the specified time period during which the Site is attempting to contact them to advise them of their prize, then the winner will not be eligible to win the prize, and the prize will be awarded to the next back-up ballot drawn. 21. If, at the end of the above mentioned time period, the selected entrant has not been contacted or otherwise declared a winner for that prize, he/she will no longer be eligible to receive the prize. 22. In the event that the principal-selected entrant is not contacted, pursuant to Rule #19, then the process to award the prize will be repeated in the same manner, using the back-up entries selected pursuant to Rule # If no selected-entrant is contacted and no winner is declared for a prize after twenty one (21) days, then the prize will not be awarded. GRAND PRIZE DRAWS 24. The grand prizes are as follows: One (1) two thousand dollar cash prize ($2,000.00CAD) One (1) one thousand dollar cash prize ($1,000.00CAD) One (1) five hundred dollar cash prize ($500.00CAD) 25. One (1) primary entry will be randomly selected from all eligible entries received by Saturday September 26, 2009 at 11:59pm during each promotion week for each prize as outlined in Rule # Three (3) back-up entries will be randomly drawn, for each primary entry at the time of the draw, to provide for contingency, in the event that the principle-selected entrant, for the prize is disqualified. 27. GENERAL RULES 34. All participants must present valid government photo identification upon request. 35. Once received by the OLG, all coupons/vouchers/ballots will be at all times the property of the OLG and none will be returned. Coupons/voucher/ballots which have been obtained or made through fraudulent means are subject to disqualification. OLG will not be responsible for Coupons/voucher/ballots, direct mail pieces or s, which are lost, destroyed, misdirected, or delayed for any reason whatsoever, or for OLG Sites capacity constraints or for the removal or the non-removal of any patrons or for any incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, visual or printing errors, or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone, computer line or network, computer equipment, software or any combination of thereof. Where such failures cannot be corrected immediately or within a reasonable time frame to allow for a continuation of the promotion, the Site may, at the Site s option, use a manual back up system and/or disqualify the affected participant. 36. OLG, Draftfcb and SplashDot assume no responsibility for: entries lost, stolen, delayed, damaged or misdirected, or for the failure, interruption or delay of any or other communication to be received, for any reason; any computer viruses, time bombs, logic bombs and any other implanted devices of a like or similar nature that may arise or occur in connection with the contest, problems with the function of any website or website feature howsoever caused; the malfunction of, or damage caused to, any telephone network or lines, computer equipment, data or software, online systems, servers or access providers, any functionality lost due to not having cookies enabled; traffic congestion on the Internet; the security or privacy of information transmitted via computer networks; or for breaches of privacy due to interference by third party computer hackers ; or any combination thereof, as a result of participation in this contest. 4

5 37. All decisions of the judges with respect to any element of this promotion are final. 38. In the event that an entrant does not meet the eligibility requirements, then the OLG has no obligation to award any prize(s) to that entrant. 39. Prize winners may be required to sign, before receiving the prize, a form declaring that he/she has claimed his/her prize. Prize winners may also be required to sign, before receiving the prize, a declaration and release, confirming promotion eligibility, compliance with the promotion rules and releasing OLG including any management agency and any independent judging organization from any liability in connection with the conduct of the promotion and/or the awarding of the prizes. 40. No prize substitutions will be made, save for OLG s right, at its sole discretion, to make a prize substitution of equivalent value. 41. OLG is not responsible for commencing, continuing or completing any components to the Find Yer Fortune ONLINE promotion, or awarding prizes in the event of circumstances beyond OLG s control, and OLG may, at its sole discretion, change or alter this promotion, as OLG deems necessary. 42. All dates and time listed in these Rules are approximate and subject to change. 43. OLG may, at its sole discretion, disqualify an entrant and seek damages and/or other relief, to the fullest extent permitted by law, from all persons responsible for any attempt to tamper with the entry process, interfere with the contest rules, and deliberately damage any kiosk or undermining the administration, security or legitimate operation of this contest. 44. Members who have indicated no phone consent on their account may not be telephoned by OLG for any reason. 45. Members with self-excluded or trespassed status as determined by OLG, will not be eligible for any prizes associated with OLG contests, promotions, tournaments or giveaways. 46. OLG reserves the right to verify the full legal name and address of the claimant with the information on the selected entry form. Valid government issued photo identification OR valid Winner s Circle Rewards card together with an acceptable (as determined by OLG) form of valid government issued non-photo identification will be required to claim the prize. If the prize is not claimed in accordance with these Rules, the prize will not be awarded and OLG has no obligation to award any substitute prize. 47. The OLG is not responsible for direct mail pieces or s, which are lost, destroyed, misdirected, or delayed for any reason whatsoever, or for the Site s capacity constraints or for the removal or the non-removal of any patrons or for any incorrect or inaccurate capture of entry information, technical malfunctions, human or technical error, visual or printing errors, or garbled data or transmissions, omission, interruption, deletion, defect or failures of any telephone, computer line or network, computer equipment, software, or any combination of thereof. 5

6 48. All references to times and dates reflect Eastern Time. Times may vary, depending on the opening and closing hour of the Site. 49. These Official Rules and Regulations govern the promotion and must be followed and by agreeing to participate in the promotion, all entrants agree to comply with, and be bound by these Official Rules and Regulations. 50. Prizes are non-transferable. 51. This promotion is subject to the Laws of the Province of Ontario and the Federal laws of Canada as applicable. 52. OLG may, at its sole discretion, change or alter this program at any time, as OLG deems necessary.
