1 Referee Registration Guide The MyFootballClub Registration system has been replaced in 2019 by the new and improved Play Football. Please carefully read this Play Football Registration User Guide to successfully register in under 5 minutes. What s new with Play Football Registration? New mobile optimised user experience. Login to your new Football Account via Facebook or Google logins as well as . You no longer need your FFA number to login To begin registration please click the below link: Please note: the above link is the only method to register, please don t follow links on Play Football website. The FV Referees Department is unable to process registrations over the phone for individuals. Each referee must self-register using the below user guide. The registration process is straightforward and will take under 5 minutes by following this user guide. 2 Step 1: Create your Football Account Please note: when entering your , you will not be able to claim the information in your previous MyFootballClub account, if your address or social login does not match the address used for registrations on the old MyFootballClub. P a g e 2

4 Step 3: Claim Profile- On the Claim Profiles page, you will be presented with a list of matching profiles from MyFootballClub where the addresses match. P a g e 4

9 Step 8: Working with Children Check if aged 18 or above Note: Screen will not appear if you re under 18. All referees are required to submit their details each year and FV cannot use previous years submissions. Any person, 18 years and over, registered as a referee, assessor or instructor will be required to hold a current Working with Children Check Volunteer category. Inactive referees who register in this package don t require a WWCC. Please note there is no cost for the volunteer check. Should you be an emergency worker or teacher you must submit your registration/id card details. If you don t currently have a WWCC please follow these steps to obtain: 1. Lodge your application via this link - WWCC Application 2. Take your application form to participating Australia Post outlets, have your photo taken. 3. Once you receive you WWCC card in the mail, lodge the WWCC information into your Football Account. Please note: WWCC must be entered into your Football Account prior to the start of the 2019 FV Season. Anyone who does not submit a WWCC cannot be appointed to matches. P a g e 9
