2 Login to WORKTERRA 1 Welcome to the BenAdmin Online Benefits Enrollment System powered by WORKTERRA. 2 To get started, go to WORKTERRA s Website: 3 Enter your User ID Your User ID will be the first letter of your first name followed by your entire last name followed by the last four digits of your SSN. For example: John Smith with SSN , ID would be jsmith Enter your password If this is your first time logging in your password will be your entire SSN number, no dashes. For example: If your SSN is password would be If you have forgotten your password click on Forgot Password? on the login page and follow the steps to create a new password. You will be prompted to answer two security questions. Troubleshooting and Help 1 Some of the more common problems you may run into are web browser related. Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari, and Chrome all display websites in different ways. 2 We recommend Internet Explorer 8 or higher for the best user experience. If you are having problems with buttons, dropdown menus, or other functions, try using Internet Explorer. 3 Another helpful tip: Use the back button near the bottom of each page to go back to the previous page instead of clicking the back button on your browser. 4 Call us, we re here to help! If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact EBS Customer Service at (888) Enter Company Name Enter SBSC in the Company Name field, and click the Login button or hit Enter on your keyboard. 3 Accept the Usage/Legal Agreements and Review the Employee Landing Page 1 Review the Employee Usage Agreement and click Continue near the bottom of the page. 2 Review the Legal Agreement and click Continue near the bottom of the page. 3 Review the Employee Landing Page. This page will tell you if you are in Open Enrollment, New Hire Enrollment, or any other status that could impact your benefits. Click Continue near the bottom of the page. NOTE: BenAdmin creates a tunnel that is unique to each user. A user s location, benefit eligibility and other factors will impact what is presented in his or her enrollment tunnel. Keep this in mind as you follow along with this guide. Plans and benefits may differ slightly but the overall process is the same. Page 3

4 Changing Your Password 1 Select a security question from the dropdown list. Then, type an answer that you will remember into the Secret Answer field. 2 Repeat this step to create a different question and answer for Secret Question 2. These will be used in case you forget your password in the future. 3 Create your password using the password rules provided at the top of the page: Password Rules: Password must be MINIMUM 8 characters, contain at least one numeric digit and contain at least one special character.> 4 Click Save & Continue near the bottom of the page when you are ready to progress to the next page. 5 Note: Any field that is marked with a red * is a required field that needs to be completed prior to progressing to the next page in the tunnel. 5 Review Your Demographics 1 Review your demographics page for accuracy. Demographics include personal information such as: first name, last name, social security number, address, etc. 2 You will notice some of the information on this page cannot be changed. If you notice any incorrect information, please contact your Human Resources Department to update with the correct information. 3 Click Save & Continue near the bottom of the page. Page 5

7 Your Spouse & Child Demographics 1 If your spouse is already listed, click on his or her name to review. Update information as required. 2 To add a spouse click the Add button. (If you do NOT need to add a spouse you can skip this step by clicking the Continue button) 3 Enter your spouse s name, date of birth, social security number, etc. in the demographics fields. 4 Click Save & Continue near the bottom of the page. 5 On the next page use the same steps to review, change and/or add a child. 6 Note: If you need to add more than one child, click on the Add Another Child button instead of Save & Continue near the bottom of the page. 8 Enroll Now Benefit Enrollment 1 After the demographic pages you will be presented with the Enroll Now Benefit Enrollment pages. The Benefit Enrollment pages are where you will elect which of the benefits offered by Santa Barbara Superior Courts you want to enroll in. to Waive Enrollment below the offered plans. 5 When you are satisfied with your election, click Save & Continue near the bottom of the page. <If you have any questions about your benefits please contact your HR Department for additional support.> 2 To elect a benefit in the Enroll Now pages you will click on the radio button next to your preferred plan. 3 To cover a dependent with your elected benefit click on the check box next to his or her name. A check should be in the box next to all of the dependent(s) you intend to enroll before you continue. 4 If you do NOT want to enroll in a benefit click on the check box next Page 8

9 Select a Beneficiary 1 If you are enrolled in a plan which requires a beneficiary you will next see the Beneficiary Page. 2 Under relationship click on the drop down and choose what relationship you have with your primary beneficiary. (Dependents you added earlier should be included in this list) 3 If you select a beneficiary that has not been input into BenAdmin you will receive a dialog box to input their demographics. 4 Finally, you can select additional beneficiaries by clicking on the + Beneficiary button, and specify the percentage for each in the Percentage field. 10 Complete Your Enrollment 1 Review your Confirmation Statement for accuracy. The Confirmation Statement should include all your elected benefits. 2 If your confirmation statement is NOT accurate or if you wish to make any changes to your elections, you can use the breadcrumbs at the top of the page to return to any of your election. The << and >> buttons move the breadcrumbs left and right, then click on the name of the benefit you wish to change. 3 After changing an election click Save & Continue near the bottom of the page, and return to the Confirmation Statement to review. 4 When you are satisfied with your elections click on either the Print & Finish or Finish without Printing buttons at the bottom of the page. 5 Important: Your benefit elections have not been completed until you click on one of the Finish buttons and receive dialog pop up with the green check mark. 6 Click on the OK button to return to your Home Page. 11 Welcome to your home page! This is where you will usually start upon login to manage your benefits. The following is an overview of the different sections of your home page, and what you can do in each of those sections: Quick Links: From this section, you can change your password, view your enrollment summary, and view your demographic information. Make Changes: If you experience a qualifying life event (such as a marriage), you can make changes to your benefits by clicking the Make Changes button. Tabs: Each of the tabs at the top of the page provide you with access to even more helpful information, check them out! Using the dropdown menus, you can: o View and manage your benefits o Download forms and plan summaries o Add or change dependents o View your Confirmation Statement (which verifies your coverage) o And more Page 11
