3 Agreement Module Overview Purpose of Agreement Module: The Agreement module of the Global Account Manager is a web-based tool that allows anyone with a McDonald s Global User ID to Accept / Review / Renew an agreement. There are some agreements that you need to accept in order to participate in certain McDonald's programs or access certain McDonald's applications and services. Examples of the types of agreements that may be found here include, Microsoft Office End Agreement for Office use in restaurants, and a franchisee s consent to allow McDonald s access to employee information to manage user ID s for a franchisee s restaurant. The Agreement module can be accessed via Global Account Manager: Agreement Module Capability Users of the Agreement module have the ability to: Accept an agreement: Users have the ability to sign agreements with McDonald's. Instructions for signing an agreement can be found in Section A. Manage an agreement: Users have the ability to review and either add/remove stores covered by an agreement or revoke signed agreements. o Instructions for adding/removing stores for a signed agreement can be found in Section B.1. o Instructions for revoking signed agreements can be found in Section B.2. Renew an agreement: Users have the ability to renew any expiring agreements. Instructions for renewing agreements can be found in Section C. 4 Section A. Accepting an Agreement 1. Log into the Global Account Manager at using your McDonald s User ID and password. Click the Your Agreements tile. 2. The agreements home page will be displayed as shown below. Global Account Manager Agreement Module - User Guide Page 4
5 3. Click Accept next to the agreement you wish to accept under the Available Agreements section. 4. Click Next at the bottom of the page. Note: You may or may not be required to enter the Address, City, State/Province, Postal Code and Telephone information in the below fields for some agreements; below is an example. 6 5. Review the agreement and check the I Accept checkbox as shown below. Click Next after accepting the agreement. 6. Click Save. Note: You may or may not be required to select the Stores in order to provide consent to participate in certain McDonald's applications and services for some agreements. You can also Select All to provide consent for all stores. Global Account Manager Agreement Module - User Guide Page 6
7 7. The agreement will be displayed under Your Accepted Agreements as shown below. The Restaurants count indicates the number of stores you have provided consent for; if required. Note: The Agreement acceptance process is now complete. Global Account Manager Agreement Module - User Guide Page 7
8 Section B. Managing an agreement Section B.1 Adding Stores to an agreement 1. To review/edit a previously signed agreement click on Review under Your Accepted Agreements. 2. Select the store numbers under Stores to provide consent. You can also Select All to provide consent for all stores. Click Save. There are some agreements that require selecting the Stores in order to provide consent to participate in certain McDonald's applications and services. 9 3. The agreement will be displayed under Your Accepted Agreements with the updated number of consented restaurant/s as shown below: Global Account Manager Agreement Module - User Guide Page 9
10 Section B.2 Revoking an agreement 1. To review/edit a previously signed agreement click on Review under Your Accepted Agreements. 2. To formally cancel an accepted agreement, click on Revoke Agreement. Note: Not all agreements can be revoked. Global Account Manager Agreement Module - User Guide Page 10
11 3. Click OK if you wish to revoke the agreement. Note: Revoking an agreement will disable crew access for the applications. After revocation the agreement will be displayed under Available Agreements with the option to Accept. Please follow the steps in Section A above to accept the agreement. 12 Section C. Renewing an Agreement 1. Click on Renew under Agreements Available for Renewal section to renew a previously signed agreement that is expiring. Note: An expired agreement will be displayed under Available Agreements with the option to Accept. 2. Follow the Accepting an Agreement 1-7 steps in Section A above to complete the renewal process.
