2 What is it? (1/2) The Vendor Information Manual plus Aircraft On Ground and Repair Guide is a web-based tool enabling relevant Supplier Support contact details, including repair stations, spare stock locations and distributors to be stored and updated on-line by Suppliers. This information is provided in real time to Airbus Customers on AirbusWorld. The service objective is to update Contact Data for Supplier Support Activities for our Customers with the following benefits; Provide up to date contact information to Airbus Customers; Market Suppliers geographic support capabilities; Meet Airbus Component Data Instruction Manual requirements (CDIM).

3 What is it? (2/2) Suppliers provide data as part of their contractual commitment to assist customers to contact them for in-service support, ordering spares, repairs etc... this data is then published by Airbus on a regular basis in the Vendor Information Manual (VIM). This was expanded for US support activities to include Part Number information AOG-RG. Previously, suppliers faxed changes to Airbus who made revisions to the VIM. This service enhances this process by enabling suppliers to make direct updates, whilst also expanding the data to include the repair and stock locations for each region, North America, Europe, Africa, Middle East, Asia... for individual LRUs and components.

Revamping reason Current tool updated yearly (pull mode) and was not enough reactive Exchange process heavy, excel file exchanged with the suppliers Access via Airbus World only for airlines Benefits for suppliers Manage the update of data by themselves in the real time within the tool Direct interaction with Airlines customer which can notify directly to supplier an error. Accuracy of the data improved Access via Airbus Supply Benefits for customers Accuracy of the data improved Enhance reactivity of the updates (updated on line) Interaction possible with the suppliers via notification Harmonization with the other Airbus World tools

Navigation by tab Filter feature (by ATA chapter, AC type, country, certification & region) Advanced search engine SEARCH by item: Part Number / Designation / Supplier Name / Cage Code / Repair Station / Stock Location SAVE : Save search items and labelled this search RESET : clear the search items VISITOR LOAD : fill in the search items with the search items saved Consult the online help Searched item result list Warning: Don t forget to click on SEARCH button after using RESET, LOAD and FILTERING buttons

12 How to perform an export? VISITOR Click on export Then choose if you want an extract of import one or all the tabs And select the format you want Click again on export to achieve the action

13 How to report an error? (1/3) VISITOR 1/ If you identify an error on a data (example here for a contact) click on report an error 2/ Click on OK to move on after the message asking you to select the concerned row

(2/3) VISITOR 3/ Select the concerned row * Note: click on «Alert me» if you want to be notified (by ) once the error is corrected by the concerned supplier 3/ Select the wrong fields you identified (then the supplier in charge will be notified and able to correct the error) 4/ Click on save to achieve the action

(1/3) Excel template for data import available through AirbusSupply as described below: Services >> Ensure Customer Support >> Supplier Support Management This template is different than the one that suppliers used to fill and provide for the previous VIM plus AOG & RG tool. Only this new template has to be imported into the new VIM plus AOG & RG tool. The old one isn t compatible.
