After working directly with Mirixia, we have implemented your request! Notifications of available Mirixa MTM activities are now identified on each applicable patient and will link you directly to the Mirixa Pro platform. Watch the brief tutorial video at to see this exciting new option in action! winrx-3102: Mirixa Support Support has been added for the Mirixa service. The pharmacy can register for the service directly through File Maintenance > Business Information > Communications tab. Once setup, WinRx will poll for new Mirixa cases on a nightly basis. The pharmacy will be notified of Mirixa cases by means of a Mirixa button on the right side of the patient name field (in place of the normal MTM button). Pressing this button will take the user to the MTM tab > MTM Services sub-tab. A new report has also been provided, located at Reports > MTM Services. MedsOnCue is an innovative digital patient education solution that reinforces safe medication use by providing patients with on-demand access to prescription-specific video briefings and other powerful information-sharing tools. By giving patients the tools and information they need to take medications as prescribed, MedsOnCue improves medication management and care outcomes. How it Works The majority of patients will discard patient information leaflets after leaving the pharmacy, leaving them wondering where to turn when they have questions regarding their prescription medication. MedsOnCue addresses this problem by providing on-demand prescription medication counseling that answers questions such as correct dosage and side effects. Access: Patients can quickly and conveniently access thousands of medication-specific videos in the MedsOnCue library by scanning a QR code printed on prescription labels and patient information sheets. Watch: Available in English and Spanish, videos provide comprehensive information on top-prescribed medications, including proper usage, expected benefits and potential side effects. Interact: One-click access to pharmacies, medication reminders and healthcare resources helps ensure patients understand how to take their medications safely and limit any avoidable reactions. Learn more about Vuca Health at Visit to register for the MedsOnCue service webinar by Vuca Health winrx-3081: VucaHealth MedsOnCue Support Support has been added for the VucaHealth MedsOnCue service. VucaHealth customers can enable the service by entering their ID number in File Maintenance > Business Info > Communications tab. 2 MODIFICATIONS & FIXES winrx-11393: Louisiana Medicaid COB Transmission Additional modification have been made to accomodate reporting COB claims with sales tax to Louisiana Medicaid. With this change, auto-send claims will process normally with no user interaction. For manual COBs to LA Medicaid, a new grid has been added to TP Resend > COB tab to enable staff to enter the required DV and HC values. If manually sending a COB, these values must be input for the claim to process. Normal claim sending is unchanged. pks-2968: Update Pricing from PK Compounder WinRx AWP and NET prices for compounded drugs can now be updated via the PK interface. winrx-5169: Fixed an issue where the Rx image would become increasingly cropped each time an action was performed on fill screens. winrx-5235: Fixed issue in which WinRx would not use a user-edited price code in the History section of edit Rx when resending a claim for fills other than the first fill. winrx-5268: Fixed WinRx to correctly calculate pricing when switching between drugs on a savings plan (when selecting Use Generic or when original drug is inactive). winrx-5291: Fixed WinRx to fully clear doctor information on New Rx [F9] when the patient is changed and the Use Last Doctor system setting is disabled. winrx-5294: Fixed issue, upon attempting to right-click and edit multiple prescribers from the Prescriber List, that the wrong prescribers would be pulled up when using a filtered report. winrx-5299: Fixed the ALT+P shortcut in New Rx [F9] to work as expected. winrx-5309: Fixed issue in which a user could attempt to delete the same prescription multiple times, resulting in incorrect inventory levels for the associated drug. winrx-5316: Fixed Autopost to remove filters correctly when the user presses the [x] to clear previously set filters after auto posting some charges. winrx-5318: On Prescriber [F2], changed the NPI keyboard shortcut to ALT+N. On Edit Rx [F11], Alt+E has been designated for escript ID. winrx-5319: Fixed nursing home statement and other related locations to display Rx quantity for prescriptions that have been charged using a ticket in WinScan Point-of-Sale. winrx-5321: Fixed inaccurate display of third party reconciliation print outs involving double split bill claims. winrx-5322: Fixed escript transmissions to strip the space when the patient name contains a middle initial. winrx-5333: Fixed the calculation of prescription stop date when updating to a new number to follow the schedule or doctor expiration date settings. Prescription stop date will also be recalculated if the prescriber is changed in the fill screen. winrx-5340: Resolved issue where dose times would be lost when manually or automatically updating to a new number in a fill screen or batch processing screen. winrx-5342: Fixed issue where a prescription with a rejected claim is put on hold while running the end of day report would retain the previous rejection information upon filling. winrx-5343: Fixed issue in which the MTM notes were incorrectly limited to 100 characters. winrx-5344: Fixed incorrect display of X number of days early on Pharmacist Verification when the original prescription fill was a partial followed by a full second fill. winrx-5348: Fixed non-functional or duplicated keyboard ALT shortcuts on Patient [F4]. winrx-5351: Fixed display of primary and secondary insurance information in the grid display of Pharmacist Verification for prescriptions that are attached to a nursing home delivery log and on delivery. winrx-5353: Fixed erroneous Then put on hold message received when attempting to change a prescription quantity for a picked up, mailed, on delivery or delivered prescription. winrx-5358: Restored the MAC price code to have a higher priority than brand and generic price codes when using a Savings Plan. winrx-5363: Changed the patient web account setup screen to display the web account state and zip code data in addition to city. crxscheduler-2564: Fixed incorrect recurring event scheduling and removal of a single instance of a recurring event. 3 WINSCAN 6.5 NEW FEATURES/ENHANCEMENTS winscan Reports Menu Consolidation Skin functionality has been added to the WinScan menus so that they will now reflect the skin chosen in Winrx system settings. Also, several reports have been removed as unique links in the Reports menu and consolidated into the View Tickets report as pre-set Views. Since View Tickets provides numerous data columns and customization features, consolidating to this report allows users greater customization ability along with the ability to view multiple types of reports without having to visit different report screens. The affected reports include Credit Card Detail, Credit Card vs. Debit Card, Insurance Checks, Signatures on File, Loyalty Club Summary and Rxs Not Picked Up (Over 14 Days). For reports that have been removed and converted to View Ticket Views, go to Reports > View Tickets and select the desired view and then enter the desired date range. Register winscan-1628: Already Picked Up Notification Wording Change The notification box that appears when attempting to add a picked up prescription to a ticket has been altered to clarify the wording and required actions. The box will now read: Rx [Rx # inserted here] has already been picked up, delivered, or is on delivery. The user will be able to select one of three options: Return (return the prescription), Proceed Anyway (ignore the picked up status and check out again) or Cancel (return to the register screen to make changes). winscan-5310: Rxs Not Picked Up Notification Changed the methodology for determining if the patient has additional Rxs to be picked up that are not on the ticket to increase accuracy of the message. Also changed the wording to read The customer still has medications in the Rxs Not Picked Up tab. Would you like to continue? Reports/Forms winscan-2125: Sales Tax Column in Returns Report A data column to display Sales Tax has been added to the Returns report. winscan-2135: Mobile Phone Number on Delivery Logs A data column for cell phone number has been added to the Delivery Log. This allows a pharmacy to add the cell phone number to the report instead of or in addition to the home phone number. winscan-2223: Footer in Delivery Log Report The Delivery Log will now display footer calculations by default for the cash, check, credit card and charge columns. winscan-2725: Subject Line for Automated Reports The subject line with sending an automated report via will be formatted: Screen Name View Name Date Range. winscan-2732: Add Support for Spanish HIPAA Form The HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices will now print in Spanish for patients flagged with Spanish as their language. winscan-10710: Compound Rx Indicator in Reports Added a data column to the Rx s Picked Up and Item Dashboard reports that will indicate if a ticket item was a compounded Rx. 4 WINSCAN 6.5 winscan Report Customizing Features in Activity Log Standard report customizing features have been added to the User Activity Log. The report can now be filtered, sorted and custom views can be created and saved. winscan Pre-filter Column Alphabetization The pre-filter columns in the Ticket and Item Dashboards are now displayed in alphabetical order. Misc. winscan-2757: Sale Information on Custom Shelf Tags Four new options are available on the Item/Shelf Tag Customizer: Sale Price, Sale Description, Sale Name and Sale End Date. winscan-2814: UPS & FedEx Shipping Interface Estimated Delivery Date Users can now view the estimated delivery date for a package by pressing the ETA button in the Create Package screen in the register and through the Shipping & Delivery menu. This feature is currently only available for UPS and FedEx shipments. winscan-2908: 832 Sale Information Added capability to import sale conditions when included with the correct formatting in an 832 wholesaler file. This capability must be enabled in the Vendor setup screen by editing your vendor. Once enabled, WinScan will attempt to download sale pricing from the vendor 832 file. If sale price, sale start date and sale end date are found in the 832 file, those values will be applied to the associated item. winscan-10850: Clerk Name on Reprinted Tickets Made changes to ensure that a clerk name is always displayed on a ticket reprinted from the View Tickets report. If the report does not require login to view, the user will be required to login upon attempting to reprint a ticket. winscan-11230: Customer/Account Name in Credit Cards on File WinScan will now display the patient or account name in the header bar so that the user can be sure as to which patient or account they are adding credit card information. The header bar will display Credit Cards for Patient [Name Here] or Credit Cards for Account [Acct. Name Here] as appropriate. winscan-11292: Centralized Time Server Added the ability for time validation through a pre-configured centralized business server when WinScan settings are properly configured by Computer-Rx support. winscan-11347: Item Deactivation Via 832 Background functionality has been changed so that WinScan will deactivate an item received on an 832 only if it is a Manufacturer Discontinued item denoted in the DM field. winscan-11386: Remove FSA File Size Limit Removed the 9MB file size cap on the FSA eligible BIN file. FIXES winscan-5304: Fixed inability of a user to clock out in WinScan Point-of-Sale after midnight. winscan-5323: Made improvements to the logging of changes in Setup > Register Options. winscan-5325: Changed WinScan to ignore items on suspended and voided tickets when generating a purchase order. winscan-5334: Fixed consistency of display of the Primary Account Frozen message on the register screen. winscan-5338: Corrected the display of Card Type on reprinted tickets. winscan-5345: Changed the method of retrieving nursing home information on Delivery Log. winscan-5360: Fixed WinScan to print DME message (when applicable) on reprinted receipts. winscan-5362: Fixed WinScan to display Customer Has An Outstanding Suspended Ticket, when appropriate, upon entering a Rx or patient on the register screen. winscan-5370: Removed unused option to print card expiration date on receipts. winscan-10783: Changed administrative menu item Rebuild On Delivery menu item to read Remove On Delivery Status. 5 UPDATE NOTES INTERFACES CUSTOMER REQUESTED FEATURES/ENHANCEMENTS interfaces-3111: RxSafe Inventory Communication Added support for updating WinRx inventory on hand amounts based on information received from the RxSafe dispensing robot. interfaces-2851: HL7 Modifications Added the packing method indicator. The indicator will be AD for automated dispense if the product is in the packer and the patient is flagged for the packer. Also added support for stat priority (highest priority) for the TQ1-9 field. interfaces-3114: Add GPI to HL7 Data GPI number has been added to the HL7 spec file so that the generic HL7 interface can be used to send medications to a packing device. interfaces : Support for Large Patient Files in IVR Interfaces Code modifications have been performed to allow support for larger patient files when communicating with various IVR products. interfaces-11394: Fill Status Indicator Change Changed the indicator for On Hold prescriptions in the data transferred to VoiceTech IVR.
