3 Who can create and manage automated reports? In WinRx an Pharmacy designated Administrator will be able to Add/Edit and manage the Automated report. In WinScan a Level 5 (Master/Admin) Access Level will be able to Add/Edit and manage the Automated Reports. 4 WinRx and WinScan offer a convenient process to print, , or FTP multiple reports in both programs. These features can automate 43 WinRx and 25 WinScan reports, utilizing the default and/or customized views. Automated reports contain the following publishing options: 1) Print: The report will be created in the selected format and print to the default report printer on the server. 2) Multiple addresses can be specified. The report will be created in the selected format and then ed to the recipients. addresses are to be separated with semicolons. 3) FTP: A file exported to the selected format will be sent via secure or non-secure FTP. Login details must be provided.

5 1) Print: The report will be created and printed in a PDF 2) The report can be ed in the formats PDF (Viewing and Printing), Excel (Importing), and CSV (Importing). Version 23.8 or higher will only have the three available formats, PDF, EXCEL and CSV. Anything older will have a.txt file to send the reports in. 3) FTP: The report can be FTP in the formats Excel and CSV (Importing).

6 Common WinRx Automated Reports: 1) Rxs Paid at U&C A weekly report to target prescription that were Paid at Usual and Customary. 2) Audit Potential A weekly Report to target prescriptions that could be an issue in an audit situation. 3) Rx s Not Picked Up A weekly or bi-weekly report to assist in clearing the Will Call. 4) AWP Resubmission A weekly or bi-weekly report to assist in ceasing the opportunities to increase prescription margins. In this senario the opportunities are possible when an insurance companies updates the AWP s on products. 5) Edits Log A weekly or bi-weekly report to monitor desired WinRx modifications per User. (example: Drug Manual On Hand Edits)

7 Common WinScan Automated Reports: 1) Exceptions Report A weekly or bi-weekly report to monitor desired WinScan Edits or Movements per User. (example: Customized for Discounts, Voids, Price Changes, Returns, & Overrides) 2) On Delivery Tickets A weekly View Tickets report view that will track on outstanding delivery tickets for the week. These tickets will then need to be checked in or voided. 3) Returns By Customer A weekly or bi-weekly report to monitor all returns performed per user and per product. 4) Close Summary A monthly closeout report to get sales totals for all register per month.

8 WinRx is capable of interfacing with a few companies to import and export data and information on the pharmacies behalf.

11 Last Date Run One of the first places to check if a report actually ran is within automated reports. Users will scroll all the way over to the right and check the Last Date Run Column to see if it gives a date and time.

12 Automated Reports Log The next place a user would check would be the Log. A Users can verify if the report was built then attempted to print , or ftp. Error will also be abled to be viewed from within the log.

13 AutoRun Report Folder In addition the user can check the Auto Run Reports folder which is located in the pharmacy directory. This folder would contain the created report or zip file.

14 For automated reports to work, WinRx Export needs to be running under services. WinRx Export works best if it is running with the admin credentials. Right Click on the Service Properties Log On This Account enter the credentials.

15 For older versions of WinRx we can check in Task Manager to make sure there are not more WinRx.exe processes running than the store has open. If so the store would need to end the processes or restart the Host computer. On occasion you will see a AcroRd32.exe which is Adobe Reader and this process will need to be stopped as well.

16 If the store has selected for automated reports to be printed and they are not actually printing the store will need to see if Foxit is installed. This is another PDF reader/writer. Adobe Reader will need to be uninstalled and/or Foxit marked as the default PDF reader.
