1 Eastern Bank TreasuryConnect estatement Manual This user manual provides instructions for viewing and exporting electronic statements also referred to as estatements. January

3 estatement Overview DDA, Savings (excluding passbook savings), Money Market and CD account statements are available electronically through TreasuryConnect. The service is enabled for the designated Administrator of the company. It is the responsibility of the Administrator to give the permission to other Users who should have access to electronic statements. A few key points about this service are: When the statements are available an will be sent to the Administrator only based on the company level address. The is sent out between 3 and 4 business days after the statement cut date. Any additional Users that have access to the statements will not receive an . You can set up a forwarding process within your application to notify any additional individuals. When you sign up for the estatement service all accounts on TreasuryConnect will be automatically enrolled and the paper printing and mailing will be discontinued. The Administrator will grant any additional Users the estatement service. If a User is given the estatement permission they will only view the statements of the accounts they have access to on TreasuryConnect. With estatements you are able to view statements, print statements in a.pdf format or save the statements to your computer. When an existing customer is setup for estatements, all the historical statements will automatically be available from March 2009, if your account was opened at that time. If your account was opened at a later date you will have access from the first month the statement was generated. At this time there is an unlimited retention period for estatements. If at any time you wish to opt out of estatements you need to print or save your statements prior to turning off the delivery of electronic statements and contact the Bank. If you are closing your account, print or save your estatements before the account is closed. I. Setting up a User To Setup a User for estatements follow the steps below. Click on the User Administration Service Click the Services link of the User to receive the user service permission option page Choose the Permission titled Outbound SSO Services to enable estatements Click the Submit button at the bottom of the page 3

4 II. Accessing estatements Approximately 3 to 4 business days after the statement cut date an will be sent to the Administrator only based on the Company level address. This company address is maintained by the bank on the TreasuryConnect company profile. The you will receive notifying you your statement is available, is from Eastern Bank and the subject line will be Eastern Bank Statement now available for viewing. Be sure this does not go into a junk folder. To access estatements log into TreasuryConnect and select the estatement service in the drop down list of services: Click on the estatement tab Then click the Login to estatement button. You will be on the Documents screen and all the statements that are available will be listed in order of the most recent statement then account number order if you have more than one account. You can view, print or save the statements to your computer. 4

Working with estatements Once on the Documents estatement screen you can view and select the statement using different filtering options listed below: To view a single statement click on the View link at the right of the account number. To view multiple statements check the boxes to the left of the account and click on the View Selected link on the bottom of the page. If you want to view more than one month and the statement is on another page, expand your view to include a larger number of statements per page or click the next arrow. If you have chosen several statements to view and want to reset the screen, click on the Documents link in the upper left corner. If there are multiple accounts listed and you want to view only one account statement, enter the account number in Account Number box and click Apply Filter. Request a date range of estatements by entering the From and To dates in the boxes, and click Apply Filter. Or use the down arrow to the right of the from and to fields to select the dates from the calendar. 5

6 To choose predefined date ranges, click on the calendar icon to the left of the From field to select one of the options. When you have the estatement in the viewer you can either click on the Print button or click on the Save button to save it to your PC To reset the search criteria, click on the clear filter link on the right hand side of the page. To Export your estatements click on the Export tab. Please note that in order to utilize the Export function you must have WinZip if using Windows. MAC users do have a zip software available. If you click on the Apply Filter without entering any information it will display all statements that have not yet been exported. If you want to export only one account, enter the account number and a date range to export statements. If no date range is entered only the statements that have not yet been exported will be displayed. The Export Status default is set to Not Yet Exported but you have three status choices available: All, Already Exported or Not Yet Exported. If you chose All you will receive all statements for the date range you have entered or if no date range is entered all statements that are available. If you chose Already Exported this will display all the estatements that have already been exported. If you chose Not Yet Exported this will display only the estatements that have not yet been exported. 6

7 IV. Troubleshooting If you are a new customer to the Bank and click on the estatement service prior to your statements being cut for the month, you will receive the following screen. If an error or problem with the statements was encountered while trying to retrieve your statements, you will receive the following message displayed on the screen. If in the unlikely event the service is down or not available, you will receive the following message on the screen. If you receive this error message and click the CLOSE hyperlink at the bottom of the page you will be logged out of the entire application. V. Exiting estatements To leave the estatement service, just click another service or click the CLOSE hyperlink in the bottom right hand corner of the screen. 7
