Eaton Corporation plc shares are traded on the New York Stock Exchange, but the name should not be used on business cards, correspondence, invoices, purchase orders or any other communication. To reinforce our global branding efforts, we will use the name Eaton and our logo on printed materials wherever possible. In most cases, there is no need for a specific corporate identifier and many large companies have migrated away from using one. For example, on business cards we will use Eaton, as in the mock-up shown. If you have materials with Eaton Corporation identified on the heading or elsewhere, you may continue to use those until supplies are exhausted unless your address is changing. The most important point is that you not replace these materials with new materials using Eaton Corporation plc, but move toward using only Eaton. In countries outside the U.S., it may be very important to have a specific corporate entity named on business cards, certain official correspondence, invoices and purchase orders. You should continue to follow these protocols with guidance from the law department as needed. The correct corporate name is likely to be an entity in your country or region, but, regardless, it will not be Eaton Corporation plc. The law department will be working with Contracts Administration, Supply Chain and other functions to ensure that the correct legal entities are noted on all contracts, purchase orders, invoices, etc. If you have any questions on any specific document or term usage, contact your Eaton law department advisor. This message provides general guidance on how we refer to Eaton as a global business enterprise. This is not intended to address names for former Cooper locations, entities, product lines or brands. The process of establishing naming protocols for those situations is underway through the integration team and we will all follow the specific guidance of the team.
