1 LifeTalent/HealthStream Educational Website: Login Walkthrough MEMORIAL MEDICAL 2018 ONLINE ORIENTATION 1. Prior to beginning your experience with us at Memorial Medical, it is important for you to learn more about how to operate within the hospital in a safe and effective way. 2. We have created customized, online learning modules that are available through our LifeTalent learning center. 3. If you are outside of the MMC network, you access the website by first going to our external website: a. Select Work at Memorial i. Select Students and Contract Affiliates ii. Click on LifeTalent Center

2 4. You will be transferred to our LifeTalent portal, and will need to: a. Click First time students click here to register 4/17/ You will be prompted to select the institution which you will be working in. a. Using the dropdown menu, scroll down to 02765N Las Cruces Non-Employee ***This selection is crucial as selecting any other Institution will not grant you access to the library and course that you will need.***

3 6. Next, complete each of the below fields; indicates Required Fields. Remember to choose a User ID and Password that you will remember, and write it down for safekeeping.

4 7. Continue completing each of the required fields ( ), as shown below. a. Click Submit when finished. 4/17/ Students should choose: Student Contract Affiliates should choose: Contractor New Hires should choose: Student Volunteers should choose: Volunteer 8. An will be sent to the address provided including instructions for future log in. 9. Note: LifeTalent accounts created within the non-employee portal may be inactivated one (1) year from the date the account was created.

5 10. After creating your initial profile, you will be directed to your My To-Do List page, as displayed below. 11. Using your mouse, browse to Catalog, and search for the following course: a. Memorial Medical 2018 Online Orientation b. Click Search c. Select Memorial Medical 2018 Online Orientation by clicking on the curriculum link d. It is very important that this exact curriculum is selected and completed; no other courses can be substituted. 12. You will be able to view an overview of the courses contained within the curriculum. a. Click on Enroll

6 13. Each course within the curriculum will be separated and the next course available to you in the series will be highlighted. a. Begin by Clicking on the Start button for the first course listed 14. Follow the instructions and click on the blue links displayed to initiate the course. If the course contains an external test after the course, follow the instructions to take that Test, Acknowledgment, or Additional Details.

7 15. Once you have completed all requirements for that course, you will see a notification showing you this information, as displayed below. a. To return to the list of remaining coursework within the curriculum, Click on Memorial Medical 2018 Online Orientation. b. You may also see a pop-up screen indicating that you have finished a specific course. Click on Return to Curriculum. 16. After completing each course, you will be able to view your overall progress. a. Continue to Start each subsequent course, and follow the specific instructions for completion.

8 17. When you have completed each of the individual sections, you be able to view and print your certificate for the entire curriculum. 18. Click on Certificate to view.

9 19. Last, using the printer functionality within your web browser: a. Print this Certificate of Completion b. Submit this Certificate of Completion to Human Resources (or clinical instructor, as appropriate) as proof of completion of online education. c. Please note that you do not need to print the individual course Certificates of Completion, only print the certificate for the Curriculum Memorial Medical 2018 Online Orientation 20. If you have previously completed this curriculum and need to view/print your progress, begin by logging in through the LifeTalent Center portal, using the User ID and Password that you previously created: 21. Navigate to Completed. 22. Navigate to the appropriate curriculum listing, and click on the link. 23. Scroll down and click on the link, View Certificate. 24. Find the name of the course/curriculum that you are seeking (in this case, Memorial Medical 2018 Online Orientation ), and Click on the corresponding Certificate button. 25. Last, using the printer functionality within your web browser: a. Print this Certificate of Completion b. Submit this Certificate of Completion to Human Resources (or clinical instructor, as appropriate) as proof of completion of student clearance education. c. Online Orientation will cover you through one year of time spent working within Memorial Medical. For time beyond one year, you must repeat the current curriculum for Online Orientation following this same process to enroll.

10 26. Password Management: Click on the Drop-Down arrow by your name and profile. Change your temporary password and add a Password Reminder by selecting, Manage Password and follow the instructions. 27. To update the address that is associated with your HealthStream account, you can make modifications by selecting Account Settings and then following the instructions.

11 28. Forgot your password? Use the Password Reminder feature at the Login Screen. Enter your ¾ ID, and click the link Password Reminder. If you have this information stored in your account then it will be displayed on the screen, which will hopefully lead you to remember what your password is and log in successfully. 29. Still can t remember your password? If you still don t remember what your password is, you may select the link Forgot Your Password. Next, you can identify yourself with either your ¾ ID or your address linked with this account. Click, Submit. An will be sent to the address registered with your HealthStream profile with further instructions for resetting your password. Please note that a valid address is required for this function to work properly.

If you get stuck at any point, or if you are having trouble with your password, please contact us in the Educational Services Department at (575) Otherwise, feel free to stop by (Annex, Ground Floor, in front of Risk Management.
