2 February Newsletter New Printed Receipt Option in Cash Receipts Entry Since thermal receipt printers are becoming more and more popular, the ability to have an old Carbon Copy has gone away. The need to print duplicate receipts have been expressed so on a user to user basis, we added the option in CRP (Cash Receipts Entry) options screen. If that option is turned on, Locis will always print two receipts when a receipt is requested to print. 2

3 February Newsletter Question: Can I print a manual check with more than 1 invoice attached to it? Answer: Unfortunately no, if you want to print the check during NE, it would be a one for one. If you have the invoices already registered you can flag them as manual during NC but would have to type the check. Question: My auditors want a list of U/B accounts with just customer name, address, city, state, zip and phone #. Is there such a report? Answer: Yes, Under Utility Billing, Lists and Reports, Account Master List (UAL). This report allows for different formats, for the one you need choose: Account list format, you can choose to have it print in name order, include active/inactive accounts, or closed accounts. Choose the short list, check mark include phone numbers. Check mark List all Customers, and click print. Question: I have an employee that is subject to IL unemployment. I don t have the unemployment deduction code on the master record but the employee is showing up on my quarterly report, why? Answer: Go to payroll master (PEM) under the tax button, there is a subject to UC? Yes/No you have selected yes instead of no. CLASS CANCELLATION OR LOCATION CHANGE All LOCIS classes are subject to cancellation up to 72 hours prior to the class. Only those who have registered will be notified of any such cancellation or location change. LOCIS will not be responsible for any expenses due to non-registrants arriving to a class that has been cancelled or when a location has changed. CLASS HANDOUTS Class handouts are available by mail at no charge via by submitting your request to cathy@locis.com. Class handouts are also available at under the Classes tab.
