It s a web-based Learning Management System (LMS), which tracks a user s completion of online and instructor-led courses, including certifications. The LMS can be accessed here: New Discover Account Registration To create a new Discover account, click the gray REGISTER button from the Log In page as indicated below. A Registration window opens where you enter your business/user account data, including your address. You will also create your own password. Page 1 of 9
2 Registration is required and all fields are mandatory. If you don t know your district manager or technical manager, select Unsure/Unknown. Your User ID is based on your first and last name combined without spaces. (Example: Caren Stone s user ID is CarenStone). The system creates this User ID automatically. When finished, click Submit. The following message is displayed: Click OK and close your browser. Page 2 of 9
3 Direct Log In If you already have a Discover account, enter your User ID and Password and click the blue LOG IN button. If you forget your password, have trouble logging in, or don t know if you have an account already, click the Technical Support link and follow the instructions provided. The Discover LMS team will answer you promptly. Registration s You should receive a system-generated confirmation immediately after you click OK on the following message 1 : This is one of two s you will receive when registering to use the system: Confirmation and Account Information. 1 If you do not receive an , it can only be one of two things: the address entered upon registration was invalid or the confirmation from Discover was blocked by a junk mail filter. The latter is the likely culprit! Page 3 of 9

If you receive a system-generated and don t understand what it is about, do not reply to the . Rather, log in to Discover and submit a support ticket using the Quick Navigation My Tickets function button. About the Interface When you log in, the home page is displayed: HOME There are four ways to get help using the system: 1. The Talking Tutor 2. The Help Topics Tab 3. The Navigation Tour Function 4. The FAQ Function Even if a feature, link, function button or tab looks grayed-out, it is still available. You can always click the Home Tab to return here. Page 5 of 9
6 Quick Navigation From the Home Page, you can access Quick Navigation buttons along the bottom of the window. They are not displayed on any other web page in the system: My Courses Access the Courses page, where you can see the classes available to you, the ones you ve taken, and the status of completion. Note the second set of tabs available for a selected course: Click this course tab Course Modules Course Exam Resources/Materials (if available) Course Survey (if available) Certificate To do what? View the modules and statuses of your current class curriculum. Take your exam for the course when finished with all its modules. Access any materials that might be available to you or required of you. If the course has a survey, you can take it here. For some courses, the survey may be required before you can print your certificate of completion. Allows you to print your certificate of course completion on your local printer. Page 6 of 9
7 My Progress Access the Progress page, where you can see your progression through all curriculums. You can also print out transcripts. Navigation Tour Access system and website navigation help. FAQ Access a list of Frequently Asked Questions. My Tickets Access the status of any technical support tickets you ve submitted. Website Navigation Tabs The tabs along the top of the website do not change, but the function buttons change depending on the tab you click. Tabs Function Buttons Home This tab contains two function buttons: Home and Class Calendar. o Click Class Calendar to access the Training Calendar. Class IDs are displayed in blue/underline. Click these links to open detailed information about the class (including cost) and to Request Enrollment in an instructor-led course. E-Learning courses do not require enrollment requests. 8 My Learning Remember that even if a feature, link, function button or tab looks grayed-out, it is still available. The My Learning tab contains several function buttons: My Courses Access the Courses page, where you can see the classes available to you, the ones you ve taken, including the status of your completion. My Progress Access the Progress page, where you can see your progression through all curriculums. You can also print out transcripts. My Game Plan Access a dashboard view of the status of all your courses, and print your certificates or CEU credit forms. Resources Access resource materials (if available) for any selected course in the system that s available to you. Surveys Access surveys (if available) for any selected course in the system that s available to you. Class Calendar Access the Training Calendar to request instructor-led class enrollment or view details of a particular course. E-Learning courses do not require enrollment requests. Communications This tab allows you to provide feedback directly to Honeywell training content providers. It is not a technical support function! My Profile This tab allows you to modify your user information/profile. You can change your address or password, etc. Click the blue Update button when finished. Update Button Page 8 of 9
