3 How to Register There are two methods of registration: 1. In person in the Registrar s Office (Burgin E. Dossett Hall, Room 101) 2. GoldLink-Online Registration To get to GoldLink-Online Registration go to the ETSU Homepage at and click on GoldLink.

5 Click Student Services for Summer Registration

6 Scroll Down Click Fall 2008 for Fall Registration

7 Click Enter Secure Area

8 Enter User ID and PIN Click Login or press Enter

9 Change your PIN # You will need to: 1. Re-enter your Old PIN (birthday again) and 2. Enter a new 5 digit PIN and 3. Enter your new PIN

17 Enter CRN Course Reference Number The CRN is a five digit code assigned to each course. To register for classes: 1. Enter your CRN s here 2. Click Submit

18 How to Verify Your Registration Verify the courses you registered for are correct. Note: Watch for error messages and carefully read them.

19 To Register Click Add or Drop Classes Add or Drop Classes

20 How to Add and Drop To Add another class: 1. Enter the call number in the Add Class box 2. Click Submit To Drop a class: 1. Click on the Action drop down menu (None) and select Drop 2. Click on Submit

21 How to View Your Detailed Schedule 1. Click Registration 2. Scroll Down to Detailed Schedule 3. Select Term 4. Click on Submit

25 Your Grades Grades are not mailed automatically at the end of the term. If you need a grade mailer, you must request it within 10 days of the end of the term. You can view your grades on GoldLink.

27 Fee Information Fees are due Aug. 22, You must pay or confirm on or before Aug. 22, 2008 by 4:30 p.m. or your schedule will be purged, and you will have to re-register. After Aug. 22, 2008 a late fee of $100 is charged to those who have not paid fees.

28 Confirm Your Registration All students must confirm their registration. If you have full financial aid, covering all your fees or you are due a refund, you must confirm your registration no later than Aug. 22, Students who pay their fees complete confirmation when they make payment by Aug. 22, 2008 Confirm through GoldLink or by contacting the Bursar s office. You cannot confirm until fees for have been assessed.

29 Are You Ready to Confirm? You are ready to confirm your registration if: A. You are ready to pay with personal funds, or B. You have received and returned your Financial Aid award letter to the Office of Financial Aid, No additional information is requested on the Financial Aid link on GoldLink and Your estimated financial aid on GoldLink is sufficient to cover your outstanding fees.

32 Student Account Access your student Account Summary to determine the total amount of your fees.

37 Before You Confirm If you have applied for and expect to receive Financial Aid, Click on the Student/Financial Aid tab on Goldlink to determine the status of your Financial Aid awards. If additional information is needed to complete your Financial Aid file, contact Financial Aid immediately at , or

38 Financial Aid Status When all required documents have been received and processed, the Office of Financial Aid will send an award letter to the mailing address you have on file with the University. Read your award letter and accompanying materials carefully. Award letter must be returned within two weeks to the Office of Financial Aid. Contact Office of Financial Aid with questions! , or

39 Successful Confirmation Follow the prompts through the confirmation process. Print a copy of the confirmation screen and retain for your records.

40 Problems With Confirmation If you receive anything other than a successful confirmation receipt, contact: Registrar Financial Aid Bursar depending on the information provided by GoldLink.

41 Dropping Classes If you decide NOT to attend ETSU after registering for classes please drop your classes on GoldLink.
