1 2013 CHRISTMAS BAZAAR New Life Center Church La Grande, OR Vendor Contract Agreement Thank you for your interest in participating in the New Life Center Church 2013 Christmas Bazaar. Proceeds from this event will benefit the youth of New Life Center Church. This event will be open to the entire community. DATES and TIMES: New Life Center Church 2013 Christmas Bazaar will be held on Saturday, December 7, 2013 from 8am-4pm inside the church building at S. Walton Rd. La Grande, OR Vendors may begin checking in and setting up on the day of the Bazaar beginning at 7:00am. Or they have the option of setting up the night before on Friday, December 6, 2013 from 6pm-8pm. Vendors must be set up and manned no later than 7:45am on Saturday. Vendors may not start to break down their areas until 4:00pm Saturday. ADVERTISING: The Observer Newspaper, Elkhorn KCMB radio station, The River 99.9 radio station, Flyers posted at multiple community businesses, Union Facebook Classifieds, Eastern Oregon Facebook Classifieds, Posted on both our reader boards one large reader board at the entrance of Wal-Mart, Posted on our website Posted on our church calendar of events, Postcards sent out to our members and by word of mouth. DONATIONS: If you would like to make a donation to the youth of New Life Center s raffle please bring the item to our church address S. Walton Rd. La Grande, OR no later than Monday, December 2nd. This will help our students raise money for yearly youth events. When displaying your items for the raffle, please include your business card or contact information. This is a great way to promote your booth during the Bazaar!
2 VENDOR INFORMATION: 1. Space fee for an 8x8 space: $25 (Early Registration, sign up before 10/31/13) non-refundable $35 (Late Registration, last day to register 11/30/13) non-refundable *Discount of $5 off your total if you purchase (2) 8x8 spaces. Space fee for a 14x8 space: *Spaces limited for this size of space, will be available on a first come first serve basis. $40 (Early Registration, sign up before 10/31/13) non-refundable $60 (Late Registration, last day to register 11/30/13) non-refundable *Discount of $5 off your total if you purchase (2) 14x8 spaces. 2. Spaces will be assigned in advance of the Bazaar, based on the order in which the signed contracts and payments were received. An effort will be made to separate vendors selling similar products. However, all assigned areas are final and no changes will be made during the set-up for any reason. Special request are filled only at the discretion of New Life Center staff. 3. Vendors will be responsible for setting up their own areas and for providing their own dollies/carts. 4. Vendors must keep the aisles free of merchandise and will be limited to the space provided. 5. Vendors will be responsible or their own cash box, receipts and product. We will not be held responsible for any missing product, cash or receipts. 6. After unloading merchandise, vendors are to move their vehicles to the back of the building away from the building to accommodate customers as parking is limited in the front. 7. Each vendor is responsible for bringing their own table/table cloths. Chairs will be provided per request.
3 8. Registration fee is non- refundable. 9. Payments should be submitted with your signed contract. All contracts must be received no later than November 30,2013 and are subject to approval. 10. All types of items sold must be listed in the contract. No item outside those listed in the contract may be sold. New Life Center Church reserves the right to limit number of participating vendors within the same genre and to refuse any vendor application. Commercial vendors are defined as those selling wares as a representative for a corporation (i.e. Tupperware, Avon.) 11. No generators, flame/explosive generating items, animals (except service animals), sexually explicit or profane items, illegal sale items, artificial tobacco items, weapons, alcohol or drugs/drug paraphernalia are allowed. This list may be expanded at the discretion of New Life Center 2013 Christmas Bazaar staff upon review of such items. No vehicles will be used in any display. New Life Center Church is a smoke-free building. Any vendor found possessing/selling such items or behaving in an inappropriate manner will be asked to vacate the premise immediately and will not be entitled to any refund. 12. Photography will be permitted during the event. Any photographs retrieved by New Life Center Church or its representatives will become the property of New Life Center Church for future use in advertising publications both print and digital. 13. Vendors are expected to act courteously and professionally to all guest and other vendors. No harassment or roaming sales will be tolerated. Any vendor not respecting the rules mentioned above will be asked to leave the event immediately and will be allowed to return only after event closing to regain their gear. Walton Rd. La Grande, OR You may also pay by cash by mail or by dropping of payment to our church office. Our office is open Monday 9:30am-4:00pm and Tuesday- Thursday 9:00am-4:00pm. We
