2 2013 Pumpkin Festival Vendor Application Event Dates & Hours Friday, October 11, Saturday, October 12 and Sunday, October 13 o 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. all three days Projected Event Attendance - 25,000 This application does not automatically guarantee participation in the 2013 Pumpkin Festival. Yes No Vendors must indicate all items they intend to sell. Along with your application, please include photos of your product as well as your vendor booth. No additional items may be added once accepted, unless approved by Allison Kiehl. Vendors are permitted to sell water and soda, but no alcoholic beverages. If you wish to sell drinks, please include in your list below. Please do not list each and every product you will sell, i.e. if you are selling candles with different price points, please indicate above: Candles - $5 to $40. We do not offer exclusivity, but we do reserve the right to limit an individual s menu to allow each vendor to be successful. 2

3 Event Logistics Vendors are responsible for providing all of their own supplies during the event. This includes power and water. No tents, tables, chairs, etc. will be provided. If you use a generator, we encourage whisper generators. Please come prepared with your own extension cord. Yes No Booth Sizes & Prices Each vendor space will be marked and placed side-by-side with little to no room in between vendors. Vendor spaces cannot be switched or moved upon arrival for set-up. The booth spaces are the exact dimensions for your product as well as yourself during the event. The entire booth space MUST include any tent(s), chair(s), table(s), pay station, etc. Booth fees are due upon acceptance into the event. This will be returned to all vendors after the event (please allow 3 weeks), unless you do not properly dispose of your trash/boxes. 3

4 Certificate of Liability Insurance (See sample on page 5.) If accepted, all vendors must provide a copy of certificate of liability insurance with Denver Botanic Gardens added as additionally insured. If you need additional information or clarification, please specialevents@botanicgardens.org. Indemnification I hereby release and forever discharge Pumpkin Festival, all Denver Botanic Gardens employees, agents and volunteers from any responsibility, personal liability, claims, loss or damage arising out of or in conjunction with my application to or participation in Pumpkin Festival. Denver Botanic Gardens will not be responsible for any injury sustained by vendors or guests while within the space designated for exhibits. Furthermore, I understand that I store my product at my own risk. By signing this form I acknowledge that I have read, understand and will abide by the policies outlined in the application and vendor letter. I understand that failure to follow these regulations can mean expulsion from Pumpkin Festival or future events. Other forms included in this application will be the payment form (A) and event rules and regulations (B). The payment form will be ed to all accepted vendors. All vendors applying are encouraged to download the event rules and regulations. Both documents are applicable to this agreement.
