4 1. Introduction [Maintenance mode] can be entered from transaction standby screen by using keypad, pressing Clear Enter, 1, 2, 3. Also can be entered from error standby using the same method. 10 2.1 ATM Setting Menu Terminal No (Path : Host Mode -> Terminal No) Insert the assigned ATM number. Method: 1. Using the Character, Number to enter the numbers. 2. Press save button to save. 3. Press OK to exit Routing ID (Path : Host Mode -> Routing ID) Enter the ID obtained from Processor. Instruction: 1. Enter using the Character, Number buttons. 2. Press SET button to save. 3. 11 2.1.3 ATM ID (Path : Host Mode -> ATM ID) Enter the manufacturer s ATM ID. (Already inserted by default) Method: 1. Enter using the Character, Number buttons. 2. Press SET button to save. 3. 12 2.1.5 Denomination (Path : Cash -> Denomination) Choose the menu corresponds to number of denomination Set Denom List for the amount of each denomination, Set Cassette for denomination of each cassette. Please note: In case of ECDM-300(6K) dispenser, the value of denomination MUST be set with Dip of each boxes. (Please refer to ECDM-300 manual) Printer Type (Path : CONFIG -> setup TM -> Printer Type) Choose the printer supported by the ATM. 1 by default 12 / 88

17 2.2.2 Settlement (Path : Teller Mode -> Settlement) Closing transaction menu Day Close : Transfer the Total amount to Host -> after completion, the receipt will be printed, then, registered amount will clear ( message transfer ) Trial Close : Total amount will be printed. Does not clear the amount already registered. ( Message transfer ) In trial Close, message will not send, it will just print the information on the receipt. 2.3 Transaction setting menu Confirm Receipt (Path : CONFIG -> Setup ATM -> Confirm Receipt) During the setting of transaction, it will check if receipt is wanted or not. 17 / 88

46 3.3.3 How to Insert and Remove Flash Card Insert >> You can insert the Flash Card on the back of the Main Control Unit. You will find a slot in which you can plug the Flash card (as shown on the pictures) How to Load/Upgrade the Software 1. Turn off the ATM 2. Insert the Flash Card 3. Turn on the ATM 4. If you get the message Download Complete, Software s Load/Upgrade is completed. 5. Remove the Flash Card out. 46 / 88

49 3.3.7 Check point when screen looks abnormal 1) Check for the damage to J2 LCD connecter 2) Check for connection on LCD cable 49 / 88

50 3.4 Bill dispenser (LCDM) To refill cassette with cash 1) Pull out the cassette using the handle marked handle below. 2) When inserting the cassette back after refill, simply push the cassette all the way back. Since there is a spring at the end pushing back, you must push all the way in until it feels snug, and feeling the click. Figure Bill Despenser 3) Hold on to the handle of the cassette, and pull the cover up to open the cassette. Pull the Handle forward, and secure it. 4) Inside the cassette, press the pusher switch, and pull to the front of cassette, secure it on the hook. Figure 8. Cash Cassette 5) Place the cash inside the cassette between the pusher and the back, front of the bill exit slot, push the pusher switch, and slowly push the pusher back.(line up the cash along the right or left side of the cassette). 6) When the cash fill is complete, close the lid, push it back in the dispenser slot. (Make sure it is all the way in until the click is felt) 50 / 88

51 3.4.2 Fix dispenser error 1) Check the back of the dispenser for power and data cable. 2) Pull the cassette forward, and check for anything that may be blocking the path. 3) Check for the path on the dispenser for anything in the path. In case of a Jam remove the object in the following way. <Restoring jam> 1) Pull the handle forward, and pull up, opening the cover of dispenser Figure 9. 52 3.5 Card Reader Card reader instruction 1) When instructed to do so on the screen, insert the card all the way back to the card reader. As the Dip Type, push all the way until it clicks In case of card reader error 1) Check the power switch and data cable connection. >> Both data and 12V power are connected by a single cable. : Check 12V power and COM6 Port : Check for any damage to the Cable (including bracket) Figure 10. 54 3.6.1 EPP insertion instruction 1. Cable connection 1. USB(5V), Serial Port connector -> PC connect 2. 55 3. Key insertion 1. Choose, and click and enter on keypad number (default 8digit password), and press Enter. 2. Press new password and press Enter. 3. Reenter the same password and press Enter. 4. Choose, and click, and keypad enter numbers (default 8digit password), and press Enter. 5. Enter new password , and press Enter. 6. Reenter the same password and press Enter. 7. Choose, and click button, and enter the new password , and press Enter. 8. Choose, and click button, and enter the new password , and press Enter 9. Click button and set date and time. 10. 56 4. Operation check 1. Insert on P: 07, on F: 01, and press button. 2. Check the bottom status window if the parameter insertion is done successfully. 3. after click PT Entry button, press keypad button to see if it displays correctly with beep sound. (Hexa Code) 5. Removing limitation in transaction 1. Insert on P:A4, on F : 00, and press button. 2. Check the bottom status window if the parameter insertion is done successfully. 56 / 88

57 3.6.2 EPP F/W Update & Activate instruction 1. Cable connection 3. USB(5V), Serial Port connector -> PC port connect 4. Open the battery cover, connect the two pins closer to the battery. Fig1. Pin connection by battery case 5. While the two pins are connected, connect RJ45 connector to keypad.. 2. Run F/W Update program 1. Run UpdateFW.exe in Update F/W Tool folder. 2. Set COM Port and click Update. 3. When window appears with choice of files, choose the file with version to upgrade F/W *.hex file Fig2. Run F/W Update 57 / 88

58 4. When F/W Update completes properly, below message will appear. Fig3. F/W Update complete 5. If incase F/W Update is not successful, change the Baud rate to 9600 and try again. 6. For key insertion Activate program must be in operation activating EPP. 3. Run Activate program 1. Run ActAPP.exe file in ActAPP folder Fig4. Run Activate Program 2.
