2 Test Summary: Overall the server performs well with 500 simultaneous users. The average response time is lower than 1 second, however, on the client side the website requires up to 9 seconds to fully load. The first server side error appears at about 240 simultaneous users (12 minutes after the test was started, screenshot 2), the error is a timeout error, the related link is: /wp content/uploads/2013/07/***.jpg. There aren t many other errors or any other kind. The timeout errors, however, increase along with the number of users accessing the server simultaneously. The Performance Issues Outdated Nginx. This configuration works well if you change these files very often, otherwise it would be suggested that the cache be purged after a new version is uploaded. Requests to some images cannot be cached because no max age or expires variables are set. The most time consuming request is SELECT `timer` FROM `wp_adrotate_tracker` WHERE `ipaddress` =? AND `stat` =? AND `bannerid` =? ORDER BY `timer` DESC LIMIT?; Significant delays on the client side caused by external requests to third party domains like facebook, twitter, etc and because the website utilizes a lot of client side scripts. Performance Optimization Recommendations Update NginX or replace with Varnish. Review plugins list. The more plugins you have enabled the slower the website is. Review the external content list. Each external resource adds extra load time and page size. Use W3TotalCache in conjunction with memcached and Varnish instead of WP Super Cache ( total cache/). Avoid cache proof requests like /jquery.js?ver=1.8.3 for infrequently modified files, rather use manual cache cleaning Leverage browser caching for static images, use either max age or expires variables Resolve MySQL errors. Use a CDN for all static requests Optimize MySQL requests/tables, review table indexes. Avoid keeping outdated information in the DB, for example wp_adrotate_tracker keeps data starting

3 from As soon as you have full root access to the server you can disable /wp cron.php and set up system cron. Minify JS and CSS files, limit the number of external requests on the page. Use Revision Control plugin to limit number of revisions which are saved for the page/post.
