1 SOUNDHEALTH PRODUCTS Therapeutic Harmonics Step by Step Guide to Download into Computer (Windows) or Smart phone PLEASE NOTE: This document only includes technical instructions. Clinical instructions (such as under what conditions you should or should not be using your harmonic), and therapeutic purpose (such as for the facilitation of calmer versus attentive states) should have been reviewed with you in session by your prescribing therapist. If for any reason your individual clinical instructions or therapeutic purpose are unclear, please contact your primary therapist directly for clarification. Thank you for purchasing your Soundhealth Products Harmonic digital download! Before you begin, we recommend you review the information below. It is intended to help you receive the maximum therapeutic benefits of your harmonic purchase: LINK EXPIRATION. Your digital download is a large file so it will be sent to you via Hightail. You will have two weeks to download it before the link expires. To receive a link after the two weeks you will need to re-purchase. WHAT IT SOUNDS LIKE. Most Soundhealth Products harmonics sound like the gentle whooshing of wind in the background or shush of an air conditioner. PLAY AT LOW VOLUME. The effects are best when the harmonic is played softly in the background. The sound volume should be just above room ambient (you can just hear the sound above normal room noise). SPEAKERS OR HEADPHONES? Although most people use their harmonics with speakers, headphones can be used. Just remember to keep the volume very low. The only exception is Sweep, headphones are required. DO NOT CONVERT/COMPRESS! It is important to keep the file format (WAV) of the harmonic uncompromised. Changing the format to a compressed file (WMA, MP3, AAC) will render any embedded harmonics ineffective. AVOID WIRELESS/BLUETOOTH SPEAKERS/HEADSETS. The technology used to transmit audio data wirelessly compromises the quality of the harmonic and will render the product ineffective. PROTECT YOUR PURCHASE. Please note you are responsible to protect your digital file as you would a hard copy of the harmonics. There is no warranty to replace a file if it is lost or deleted after two weeks of being purchased. 2 STEP BY STEP DOWNLOAD GUIDE FOR iphone 1. Before you begin your download, please ensure you are connected to Wi-Fi on the device you are using. Without this you risk using a large amount of data and/or if using a tablet you may not be able to access your app store. 2. Open your App store, click on the search bar and type in Hightail. You should be able to see the Hightail free downloadable app on the top of your screen. Please press GET and download application (you will need your Apple ID to download to your device). 3. Once installed onto your phone, click to open the application and Join or Login into account (if you've never used Hightail you will need to sign up). 2

3 4. You will be sent an to complete the registration. Open your inbox, click on the confirmation link provided by Hightail. Click "Return to App". 5. Inside the App, you will see a menu with the headers Tracker, Folders, Offline files. 3

4 6. Please click on the Tracker icon. You will then see Swingle Clinic has sent you your Digital download. Click on the arrow on the right hand side, circled in green. Click on the Save all button (in green). 7. You will be asked to save in a folder. Please create one by clicking on the black folder icon "new folder" with the plus icon at the bottom of the screen. 4

5 8. Enter the name of the Digital Download (for example Harmonic Sleep) 9. Now you can save your download inside the folder. Click on Save. 5

6 10. Your harmonic is now being downloaded (this can take anywhere between 2-5 minutes depending on wifi/data speed) 11. Click play and enjoy your download*! *Your file will be played from the Hightail app, which will require data or access to WIFI in order to play. We recommend WIFI to save data. 6

7 SAMSUNG/ ANDROID STEP BY STEP DOWNLOAD GUIDE 1. Before you begin your download, please ensure you are connected to Wi-Fi on the device you are using. Open your App store or Play store and click on the search icon and type in Hightail 2. You should be able to see the Hightail free downloadable app on the top of your screen. 8 3. Once installed onto your phone, open the application and Join or Login into account (if you've never used Hightail you will need to sign up). 4. Clicking on the left hand corner, a drop down menu will appear with the headers My Files, Tracker, Send, Share a Folder, Upload, and Settings either on a side bar, header, and or footer will appear. 8

9 5. Please then click on the My files icon and create a new folder to create new folder click on the icon that has a plus and a white and black folder. 6. Enter the name of the Digital Download (for example Serene) 9

10 7. Now that you have a folder created, click back on the Tracker icon. You will then see Swingle Clinic has sent you your Digital download. Click on Save to my Files. 8. Your harmonic is now being downloaded (this can take anywhere between 2-5 minutes depending on wifi/data speed) 9. 11 STEP BY STEP DOWNLOAD GUIDE FOR COMPUTER (Windows) This illustrated guide will use the Mozart harmonic as an example but can be used for all digital downloads. 1. Once you have ordered your digital download, you will receive an via hightail, from address Click download files, circled in black. 2. After you click on the link, you will be taken to the page below. You will see two files. The first file (pdf), will contain instructions on how to use your harmonic. The second file (wav), is the harmonic itself. A. Click on download all to download both files. B. A file called archive.zip will start to download automatically after 11

12 3. When the file has finished downloading, please click on it to open the folder. You can right click on the.zip file that has been downloading on the bottom left corner on your browser and select "open". 4. When the file has finished downloading, please click on it to open the folder. You will see both the pdf instructions and the WAV file harmonic. At this point, you will need to uncompress this folder. Click on word downloads in the address bar of the window. 12

13 5. At this point you will see all of the files you have downloaded in the past. Please right click on the folder named archive, and select the option extract all. Click on extract in the second window. You should now see Mozart in the download folder. 6. Your digital Harmonic is now in your Downloads folder. You can: A. Right click and Play in your computer s default player. RECOMMENDED B. Drag and drop into your preferred media player. Make sure you do not convert the file to MP3, WMA.
