1 Floating Palette: WizTeach Can resize, minimize, close (exit), access drawing tools, open tools list, and lessons and background. Once resized, will stay that way after opening and closing program. Tool palettes available: o Standard tools o Math o Vote Tool o Literacy o Geography o Settings o WizTeach Share Lessons and Backgrounds: Background will appear over desktop and any other open applications. Lessons-can right-click slide for copy, paste, insert, and delete. Can Save, Save As, Print. Standard Tools: Cursor Undo Selection Tool (Groups)-allows you to select all objects that fall into an area and manipulate them as 1 object. Pencil-can select color, line size, and can draw directly into Word, PPT, Excel Lines Eraser Shapes-can select a variety of shapes and shape recognition (allows you to draw and it will be recognized and drawn by the computer.) Can click Cursor and then on white star

2 above shape for more options. Text-Can add text by typing on reg. keyboard or WizTeach keyboard (have more language options). Color- (alpha is transparency) Highlighter Torch-spotlight-have to click inside circle to move. Can click in bottom corner to resize Magnifying glass Images-Regular images and animations Window shade-can put up multiple shades at one time Keyboard Clear Screen Standard Tools: Drawing Tools Capture: o Video Capture-used with document camera, webcam or video camera. o Can do screen capture o Screen record-saved recordings are saved in Archives. o Archives-can select and view previously recorded videos and images o Keyboard-Allows you to type into any open application, language can be changed Math Tools: Numbers: o Numbers bar-can expand/collapse bar, pull #s apart, rt.-click to delete. o Symbols bar-+, -, =, etc. o Function Machine o Abacus o Number Line-can click a number and drag away. Can resize.

3 o Grids-can use preset or make own. o Fraction Bar-can use premade or make own. o Calculator (basic)-scientific calculator found in measurement tools. Math Tools can be used with each other and/or separate. Measurement Tools: Ruler-can be rotated, resized, and moved Protractor-can be moved, rotated, resized, and turned into a 360 degree protractor Compass-drag pencil to left or right for length, pull down to select color, release and circle will be drawn. Converter-converts units of weight, volume, distance, temperature, time and area Clock-Digital and analog available and can be used together. Scientific calculator Stop Watch/Timer Tape measure Geometry: Prisms-can create and see how formed. Clicking Net will show you how it s formed. Pyramid-create pyramids and see how formed. Words can be saved to vault and dragged into blank spaces.
