Link to title of record that you want to collect - note that only one record can be collected at a time 7. Link to <BibTex> on the right of screen (under Tools and Resources) 8. Scroll to the bottom of window that appears, and link to <Download> 9. When presented with a File Download box, link to <Save> 10. Save the reference as a.txt file on the desk top 11. When presented with a Download Complete box, link to <Close> 12. Link to the RefWorks window 13. Link to References/Import from the menu bar 14. Select Brunel University as the Import filter/ data source 15. Select ACM Digital Library [BibTex format] as the database 16. Use the Browse button to navigate to your saved file 17. Link to the <Import> button 18. Link to <View Last Imported Folder> Cochrane 2. Open Cochrane 5. Link to <Export Selected Citations> button at the bottom of the page 6. Link to <Go< button 7. 3 2. Open one or more of the Dialog DataStar databases 4. Mark the records you wish to export into RefWorks 5. Scroll down to the bottom of the screen 6. Select Medium for the Display Format and Export to RefWorks for the Output Format 7. Link to <Save> 8. The RefWorks login center window should open 9. Enter your RefWorks login name and password 10. Link to the <Login> button 11. Link to <View Last Imported Folder> Ebscohost databases: Academic Search Complete, Business Source Premier, CINAHL, GreenFile, Historical Abs, LISTA, MLA, PsycInfo and SportDiscus 1. Start with RefWorks closed 2. Open one or more of the Ebscohost databases 4. Link to <Add to Folder> for each reference that you want to collect 5. Link to <Folder> in the top right hand corner of the screen 6. Check the "Select/deselect all" box or mark individual records 7. Link to the <Export> icon (with the green arrow) 8. Check that the radio button is highlighted for "Direct export to RefWorks" 9. Link to the <Save> button 10. The RefWorks login center window should open 11. Enter your RefWorks login name and password 12. Link to the <Login> button 13. Link to <View Last Imported Folder> Emerald 2. Open Emerald 4. Link to <View all n results> 5. Mark the records you want to import into RefWorks 6. Link to <Go> button, adjacent to "Add to the marked list". Note the marked list holds a maximum of ten items; for a larger list, you need to register a profile. 7. Link to <Marked Lists> on the left-hand side of the screen 8. Link to <Select all> to mark the records again 9. Link to <Export options> 10. Link to <Export to RefWorks> button 11. The link to the RefWorks window should turn dark blue 12. Link to the RefWorks window 13. Link to <View Last Imported Folder> Google Scholar 2. Open Google Scholar 3. You need to set the Scholar Preferences to allow direct export to RefWorks. Scroll down to the bottom of the Scholar Preferences page, link to the radio

4 button Show links to import citations, select RefWorks from the drop-down menu, and link to the <Save Preferences> button. 4. Perform a search 5. When presented with a Download Complete box, link to <Close> 11. Link to the RefWorks window 12. Link to References/Import from the menu bar 13.
