Preferences Screen Back to Index Top Working as a Batch Process Back to Index Bottom SWF Sound Automation Tool has the ability to be used as a part of an automation project, or a web site. All of the functionality of the program can be manipulated with the command prompt. The task manager can be assigned to run the program from the command prompt (DOS) with the parameters needed. Also this program can be interacted with popular databases like Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, MS Access for performing some routine automation processes with the help of the parameters sent within the command prompt. The command prompt parameters for SWF Sound Automation tool are as follows: SWFSOUNDAUTOMATE -AUTO -F:filename [-HIDE] [-SHUTDOWN] -AUTO (required) : -AUTO parameter runs the application as a batch process. If you forget to add these parameter, SWF Sound Automation Tool only opens the project for further changes. -F:filename (required) : -F parameter is a required paramater. filename stands for the.snx file to be processed. If the project path has whitespaces in it, do not forget to add quotes in filename parameter. Ex: swfsoundautomate - f:"c:\example Projects\example.snx" -auto -hide -HIDE (optional) : With -HIDE parameter, the application works hidden (i.e. do not show application screen when running). -SHUTDOWN (optional) : -SHUTDOWN parameter, closes the application after batch process is completed. Note that, by setting -HIDE parameter without -SHUTDOWN, application screen is just hidden, until the processing is completed. To use batch processing in SWF Sound Automation Tool, you should know the XML structure of.snx files, which is explained in detail below: <swfsoundautomateproject> <prgid>xyz2000</prgid> <filever>2.5</filever> <ProjectName>C:\Example Projects\example.snx</ProjectName> <OutputType>0</OutputType> <Quality>1</Quality> <Mode>s</Mode> <Bitrate>64</Bitrate> <Frequency>22.050</Frequency> <OutputFolder>C:\Example Projects\</OutputFoldertype> <Files> <File>C:\mp3s\test1.mp3</File> <File>C:\mp3s\test2.mp3</File> <File>C:\WAVs\test3.wav</File> <File>C:\WAVs\test4.wav</File> </Files> <StopAction>0</StopAction> <FramePerSeconds>12</FramePerSeconds> <FrameTuner>0</FrameTuner> <runupload>0</runupload> <resamplemp3>1</resamplemp3> <synctype>1</synctype> <ftpaddress>ftp.testftp.com</ftpaddress> <ftpuser>anonymous</ftpuser> <ftppass></ftppass>

9 <ftpport>21</ftpport> <ftppasvmode>0</ftppasvmode> <ftpdir>/projects</ftpdir> </swfsoundautomateproject> swfsoundautomateproject, prgid, filever: These tags must exist in a SWF Sound Automation project file. ProjectName : This tag stands for the project name and file path of the project. Quality, Mode, Bitrate: Output Settings of the sound files. OutputFolder : Sets where the output swf files will be created. Files : List of sound files to be converted. StopAction, FramePerSeconds, FrameTuner: These tags configure swf frame options. runupload, ftpaddress, ftpuser, ftppass, ftpport, ftppasvmode, ftpdir : Ftp server information for uploading generated swf files.
