3 SuperUniti reference all-in-one audio player The SuperUniti is Naim s reference all-in-one audio player. All-in-one, however, doesn t just mean an integrated amplifier and a couple of integrated sources. SuperUniti genuinely can do it all. It is an integrated wireless UPnP network stream player capable of playing high-resolution 24bit/192kHz audio files as well as a USB audio player, ipod, iphone and ipad dock, internet radio, DAB radio, FM radio, ten-input digital and analogue preamplifier, digital to analogue converter, and stereo 80 Watt power amplifier. And just so that you don t lose track of time while listening - easily done - it has an alarm clock too. 5 UnitiLite slimline all-in-one audio player When we introduced the original NaimUniti little did we realise just how much music enthusiasts would appreciate its combination of Naim music making and simple access to both traditional and new media music sources. Since then, the NaimUniti has been updated to the NaimUniti 2 and joined by the compact UnitiQute and the reference SuperUniti to extend the UnitiSystem across more system applications and audiophile needs. Now, the UnitiLite offers another piece for the UnitiSystem jigsaw. UnitiLite offers a set of features closely related to the NaimUniti 2, and of course it offers genuine Naim sound quality and musical satisfaction, but it also offers an elegant slimline enclosure and quite extraordinary value. The UnitiLite comprises an integrated CD player, eight-input preamplifier, 50 Watt power amplifier and optional FM and DAB radio tuner. UnitiQute is a compact, stylish, multi-source, all-in-one audio player that can also play UPnP streams at up to 24bit/192kHz resolutions. Just like the SuperUniti and NaimUniti 2, you only need speakers. And just like its larger siblings, UnitiQute is a true Naim product incorporating all the amplifier and digital audio know-how that produces the world s best hi-fi. UnitiQute doesn t just make music, it makes music real. 7 UnitiServe compact hard disk server UnitiServe is a CD ripping music server and the heart of UnitiSystem. Incorporating a 2TB internal hard disk and able to access almost limitless network storage, a single UnitiServe can easily store your entire CD collection and, thanks to Naim UPnP server software, make it available simultaneously to multiple UPnP -enabled players around the home players like SuperUniti, NaimUniti 2, UnitiLite or UnitiQute. But storing and streaming audio is only one part of UnitiServe. By accessing an online database it will automatically catalogue all the CDs it rips and make them easily accessible for selection by title, artist, genre, performers and composer you can even create and store your own playlists. Ripping a CD with UnitiServe is no more complicated than inserting it into the loading slot and waiting a few minutes for it to be ejected. An additional folder is also provided within the UnitiServe s internal hard disk for your downloads and rips made to other devices, giving you one dedicated store for your entire music collection. The only wired connection needed, to ensure streaming quality and reliability, is from the UnitiServe to the network router.
