1 Technical requirements This document will provide a detailed guide on the system requirements that should be met when using the Hunter TAFE Moodle site for online learning. For a satisfactory experience it is recommended that you use a system that either meets or exceeds the requirements presented below. Windows Operating System: Windows Vista and later is recommended. Windows XP is supported but is not recommended due to its age. Processor: 1GHz or greater Memory: 1Gb RAM or greater is recommended Video: Directx 9 class video card with 32Mb or greater graphics memory Sound: Audio device capable of outputting to speakers or headphones Internet Explorer: Internet Explorer 9 or later is recommended. Not all have been tried and tested and there will be differences between each variety in the way it behaves. The recommended variety is Ubuntu/Debian due to its large support base.
