25 The application gets a frame from the SW frames pool and sends it to the FM-port through the DPA-port and QMan FQID. If tx-confirm is used, the f_txconf callback is called by the DPA-port driver at the end of the transmission process after getting the indication on the QMan tx-conf FQID. If tx-confirm is not used, the DPA-port will allocate new buffer from BM, copy the user data to the new BM buffer and then, after sending the new frame to the FM-port through the QMan FQID, it will immediately call the user f_txconf callback to confirm its buffer. 27 Upon frame s reception the FM-port (HW) allocates a BMan buffer and enqueues it to a QMan FQID. The DPA-port driver receives this frame either by polling or by QMan portal interrupts. Depending on autofill indication, the DPA-port driver can fill the BMan with 1 (or more in S/G) buffer from the SW-pool. If the autofill flag is not indicated, it is application-responsibility to fill back the BMan pool with the missing buffers. The application should also return the frame to the SW pool after processing it. NOTE QM_PORTAL_Poll is being called only if POLLING flag is set. 29 The Offline-Parsing (OP) ports are treated in use-case as loop-back ports. Therefore their flows are similar to Rx and Tx flows combined. Differences: f_txconf callback is called automatically by the DPA-port driver right after enqueueing the frame to the QMan FQID.
