Dataconnect allows you to integrate your service on multiple shopping platforms and marketplaces with just one single API-integration. 5 TECHNICAL INSIGHTS We ve designed this service from the ground up to be simple but yet extremely powerful Dataconnect-API The itembase eco-system provides your team with everything you need to build an incredible ecommerce app. Great documentation and sandbox integration tools will help you to get started quickly. Authorization follows the OAuth2 standard and data access is modeled after the RESTful paradigm to get you programming right away. The itembase API is tailored to allow developers to connect easily and test your service. Almost any HTTP client, in any programming language can interact with the API, and the default return format is Json, but XML and others are supported as well. Dataconnect-Plug-ins We provide plug-ins for the 95+ most widely used shop-systems and versions, be it the most recent versions or some of the old versions that are still actively in use. These plug-ins take care of two things: service injection and data transfer. They are communicating with the API to provide the secure transfer of high-quality data into the itembase eco-system. They can also deliver your services into shops, or may even combine services. 5

Access to sensitive data is strictly controlled, so only authorized users can access the data, which is further protected by encrypted transport and storage. We provide plenty of useful public data as well, such as a product, seller or brand information.
