1 Welcome to Smartproxy! Here you will find a short intro and instructions on how to set up your proxies. Let s go! You have a dashboard account and purchased a plan. What s next? Log into the dashboard HERE FIRST THINGS FIRST - YOUR PACKAGE INCLUDES: Unlimited 24/7 customer HTTPs, IPV4 Unlimited geo-targeting support connections THINGS NOT TO FORGET: You can use an unlimited number of connections, threads, and countries at once as our pricing model is based on traffic usage. It is required to pay a monthly commitment at the beginning of every period. You can change your plan at any time or add more credits (GB) if you used all of your traffic. You are 100% responsible on canceling the monthly subscription on time before the next billing cycle. Traffic is the sum of incoming request size and outgoing content size (request headers + request data + response headers + response data).

3 FIND INFORMATION ON: INTEGRATIONS FAQ CONFIGURATION MAIN DASHBOARD WINDOWS 1. DASHBOARD In the dashboard window you will find basic info on your pricing plan and subscription details. If you re already using proxies - you will find your daily traffic statistic. OVERALL TRAFFIC DETAILS SUBSCRIPTION DETAILS NOTE- billing is automatic. Want to change your plan? Go to billing tab on the left. Follow your traffic and know how much GB you have left. You will be updated via once you reach 80% of the limit. EXTRA CREDITS Ran out of GB? Purchase additional! The price depends on your plan. DETAILED TRAFFIC NEED ASSISTANCE? Check your daily traffic and predict usage Let s chat!

4 2. SUBUSERS Create subuser to follow up traffic dedicated for different tasks, locations or similar. ACTIVE SUBUSERS Check how many subusers are active. LIMIT The number of subusers available depends on your plan. DETAILED SUBUSER INFO Check status and traffic per subuser. To change password choose edit. CREATE SUBUSER Usrename: you can use upper/lower case letters, numbers and _. Min length 3; max-64. Password: preferred not to 3. WHITELISTING IP whitelisting allows you to create lists of trusted IP addresses that won t require user:pass authorization. ACTIVE WHITELISTED IPS Know how many IPs whitelisted are active at the moment. LIMITS The limit of whitelisted IPs depends on your plan. TRACK TRAFFIC Track how much traffic (total) went through whitelisted IPs. MANAGE WHITELISTED IPS Check what IPs are whitelisted and delete them if needed. ADD WHITELISTED IP Add IPs of your devices that you are using.

5 USING PORTS 1. CHOOSE A SESSION SESSION ROTATING SESSION To change your IP with each new request STICKY SESSION To keep your session for a longer period 2. CHOOSE ENDPOINTS A. ROTATING SESSION New IP with each new request FROM A RANDOM LOCATION gate.smartproxy.io:7000 endpoint will rotate your IP from a random location with every new request. curl -U user:pass -x gate.smartproxy.io: FROM A SPECIFIC LOCATION To rotate your IP with each request to a new specific location you need to choose ports. Find them in endpoints tab on the left Random Endpoints. In this case you need to use one city/country specific proxy endpoint. For example, us.smartproxy.io:10000 will give random US proxy IP with every query. curl -U user:pass -x us.smartproxy.io:

6 B. STICKY SESSION New IP will not change with each new request but will stick the same for a longer period. FROM A RANDOM LOCATION If you need to establish sticky sessions from a random location use single backconnect entry node with sticky session parameter. FROM A SPECIFIC LOCATION To rotate your IP after a longer period to a new specific location you need to choose sticky ports. Find them in endpoints tab on the left Sticky Endpoints `curl -U user-<user>-session-<id>: <pass> -x gate.smartproxy.io: Main countries have up to 10,000 ports with sticky IPs. For example, it.smartproxy.io:25762 will give the same Italian IP address for a longer period. Please note, that this endpoint has 10,000 sticky ports, from to curl -U user:pass-x it.smartproxy.io:

7 BACKCONNECT ENDPOINTS Smartproxy also offers proxy access through a single backconnect endpoint: gate.smartproxy.io:7000. In this case, you need to pass all parameters alongside username and password. Here is the list of all available parameters with their description and usage: COUNTRY Provide country code in a two symbol ISO format. To get a random country, simply exclude this parameter from username string. CITY Adding this parameter to the authorization header enables you to specify which city IP to use to process the request. Use this parameter together with the country information. SESSION Random string to create a session in order to keep the same proxy for more than one request. After that a new IP will be assigned to this session ID. CURL LINE WITH PARAMETERS Random proxy from a random country/city curl -U <username>:<password>-x gate.smartproxy.io: Random proxy from a specific country and random city curl -U user-<username>-country-it:<password> -x gate.smartproxy.io: A specific country with sticky proxy curl -U user-<username>-country-pt-session-randomizedstring999: <password> -x gate.smartproxy.io: A specific country and city with sticky proxy curl -U user-<username>-country-us-city-new_york-session-randomizedstring999: <password> -x gate.smartproxy.io: HAVE ANY QUESTIONS?
