This occurs when the ISPTABL data set is not defined in the ISPF logon PROC, or when the user does not have update access to that data set. This table is only required for CICS measurements. Non-CICS shops will typically not perform the same customization steps that CICS shops will perform. Thus it is possible that ISPTABL may not be allocated to a data set that the user has update access to. After selecting TranView (option 6 from the MAT Primary Option Menu) the message "Error creating table." is received.
