The ZOLLER saturn image processing system allows you to measure tool cutters of any type quickly, independently of the operator and with accuracy down to the µm. The telecentric lens and cold light illumination offer an almost unlimited service life. hyperion 250 is equipped with the unique ZOLLER zero point monitoring function which means tools are always measured with the correct zero point. The geometry of the tool cutter is automatically recorded at the same time and is immediately measured in up to five parameters. Furthermore, the hyperion 250 is equipped with a cutter inspection function that allows the wear on tool cutters to be checked. The saturn zero and saturn 1 systems are equipped with dual operation using both keyboard and touchscreen. In conjunction with cutter inspection, saturn 1 also offers manual software for measuring tool cutters using incident light (option). In this way, for example, calibration tools can be preset for single and multiple spindle automatic lathes. Furthermore, the saturn zero and saturn 1 versions with telesto software make it possible to position any cutter shapes on the monitor by means of DXF input (option). This means you can also preset and check your form tools.
