Process Please return a written bid for the consideration of school governors by post or courier to be received by 1pm on Tuesday, 2 nd September Tender submissions will only be accepted if received in a plain envelope bearing no identification marks clearly stating IT TENDER DOCUMENTATION. 2 It is the Tenderer's responsibility to ensure that their bid, including all supplementary information, is submitted prior to the stated closing time and date. Where receipt is required it is the tenderers responsibility to use a delivery mechanism that provides receipt of delivery. Where Tenderers propose using a courier or carrier service to deliver their tender submission they must ensure that consignment bags are clearly marked as being IT TENDER DOCUMENTATION. Please note no bids by will be accepted. The bid must detail: a) Confirmation that the specification requirements have been met. b) Where specifications have been exceeded, this should be highlighted. c) Warranty service level agreement, including length of warranty. d) Cost, including delivery. e) Where applicable, the number of units. f) A separate bid for each of the specifications listed below that you wish to bid for. g) An additional bid for combined multiple specifications where better value can be offered. Receipt of Bids After the closing date all bids received will be opened by school representatives including representatives from the Governors. The bids will then be reviewed with bidders being notified of the outcome within 14 days of the closing date.

7 WiFi Specification Purpose This is a two fold project. The current WiFi system is based on DLink DWL-7100 access points which have been in place for over 7 years. These devices are now failing with site coverage now at only 40%. As WiFi technology has developed rapidly in this time we are now looking at offering our 6 th form students and teaching staff the ability to bring their own devices (BYOD), something we cannot do on the current system without compromising security. It s estimated that 55 points will be required being purchased over 3 years, 15 in Year 1 and 20 in each subsequent year. Specification Wall Mount bracket. Kensington security lock point.
