ABSTRACT The necessity of a low cost electronic home security system designed in coordination with other security measures is always there in our society to reduce the risk of home intrusion. Keeping this problem in mind, we are working on a project on automatic password based door lock system using Android Smart Phone. We want to utilize the electronic technology to build an integrated and fully customized home security system at a reasonable cost. We hope this project will be useful in keeping thieves, dacoits and other sort of dangers at bay. By using this system we can unlock the door by using pre-decided password, increase the security level to prevent an unauthorized unlocking. This automatic password based lock system will give user more secure yet cost efficient way of locking-unlocking system. I. INTRODUCTION The number of disabled people keeps increasing year by year probably because of two common factors. In First factor those who are born paralyzed while others have due to unfortunate accidents. So, We implement the android application that uses the wireless technology to establish communication between user s smartphone and controller board[1].the disabled people have a limited ability to control electrical and electronics devices at their home because normally the switches are placed at a height of 1500mm while the comfortable height for a wheelchair user is up to 1300mm only[2].we are implementing this for those who are paralyzed from the legs up to waist level, and uses wheelchairs. The disabled user can easily use the Graphic User Interface(GUI) application that has been created in the android smartphone by door lock control system to lock or unlock door through wi-fi protocol[4].a pop-up block will automatically appear on the screen to show the status of the door. At the same time, a small bulb that is attached to the door will switch ON once the door is opened[3]. Fig 1: Wheel chair User[2] II. RELATED WORK AND LITERATURE REVIEW Vinay Sagar & Kusuma.S.M[1] has implemented a Home Automation System(HAS) using Intel Galileo that employes to integration of cloud networking, wireless communication, to provide the user with 2017, IERJ All Rights Reserved Page 1

2 remote control of various of lights,fans, and appliances within their home and storing the data in the cloud. The system will automatically change on the basis of sensors data. This system is designed to be low cost and expandable allowing a variety of devices to be controlled. N.H.Ismail & Zarina Tukiran[2] proposed an ongoing project that serves the need of people with physical disabilities at home. It uses the Bluetooth technology to establish communication between user s smartphone and controller board. R.S.Suryavanshi[3] proposed the idea along with the much-needed Automation System Interfaced with th Android Systems. This makes our home intelligent enough to save electricity, which is the need of the hour. This system has an upper hand from other similar developments made with the technologies such as Bluetooth since it works on Wi-Fi. Thus they have overed a scalable and cost-effective Home Automation system(hass). R.A.Ramlee & M.M.Isamail[4] proposed the Smart Home System for Disabled People via Bluetooth Wireless. Smart home system for disabled people is the system called assistive domestic focuses on making it possible for the disabled to motivate them carry out the daily activity, safe and comfortable. They attempt to design the smart home system including the wireless controller via Bluetooth technology. This software application adapt in mobile phone, PDA, mobile computer(samsung Galaxy Tab) using android s operating system(os). This software application will control the electrical appliances switches wirelessly. Anurag Satapathy & Debi Prasad Das[5] proposed an electronic system for remote operation of various electrical devices. The range of the system is about 30 meter in indoor environment. The system consists of a wireless remote handset and a fixed actuator unit. The system can be easily integrated in an existing electrical wiring. This system is very helpful for elderly and disabled people who have restricted movement or are bedridden. Such people can operate many devices just with press of a single button of the remote. Josh Potts & Somsak Sukittanon[6] The mobile devices and security system communicate via Bluetooth because a short-range-only communications system was desired. The mobile application can be loaded onto any compatible device, and once loaded, interface with the security system. Commands to lock, unlock, or check the status of the door to which the security system is installed can be sent quickly from the mobile device via a simple, easy to use GUI. The security system then acts on these commands, taking the appropriate action and sending a confirmation back to the mobile device. Dr.G.M.Malwatkar & Shrikrushna Khedekar[7] It is an automation of home or house hold activity. Raspberry Pi is a small computer, which was introduced in the year of 2012; It is currently a main stream system subject to extensive availability that can be used in home automation. It is estimated that up to 2020 there will be near about 50 billion internet enable devices available. Rajeev Piyare[8] proposed presents a low cost and flexible home control and monitoring system using an embedded micro-web server, with IP connectivity for accessing and controlling devices and appliances remotely using android based smart phone app. The proposed system does not require a dedicated server PC with respect to similar systems and offers a novel communication protocol to monitor and control the home environment with more than just the switching functionality. To demonstrate the feasibility and effectiveness of this system, devices such as light switches, power plug, temperature sensor and current sensor have been integrated with the proposed home control system. Herry Azhari Rangkuti & Joni Welman Simatupang[9] proposed Home automation or known as smart home is a home which is equipped by a system for controlling and integrating electronic devices, such as lighting, home theater, CCTV (closed circuit television), HVAC (heating, ventilation, sand air conditioning), motion sensor, security lock sensor forgets or doors and etc. Its main purpose is to provide the improved simplicity, energy efficiency, higher security, and better feelings at home for the user benefits. Smart phone could be integrated as part of ringtone sensor for security door lock automation system. Therefore in this work, locking automation system using smart phone polyphonic tone sensor has been designed and implemented. Wook-Sung Yoo and Sameer Ahamed Shaikh[10] proposed a prototype of home management system (HMS) controlled by mobile devices was developed by project teams at Computing Education Academy(CEA) at Fairfield University by integrating Arduino with App Inventor. CEA was established at Fairfield University in 2013 to expose high school students to key computing concepts and basic computer programming through hands-on activities and to motivate students to enter post secondary education and career opportunities in computing. CEA class modules include Scratch, App Inventor, Circuit Design, Arduino, and final team project of developing home management system under the guidance of graduate assistant sand faculty of Fairfield University. Failure = Desired output is not generated. a. Architecture Input: I ={ I1,I2} where, I1=Password(number, symbols, alphabet) I2=Select the users key selection. Output: O = {O1,O2,O3} where, O1=Lock the door. O2=Unlock the door. O3=LED is ON Success Condition: {If password is correct then door will be lock or unlock} Failure Condition: {If password is not correct then door will not be unlock or lock and alarm get occur.} IV. EXISTING SYSTEM The existing system[1] has implemented HAS by making the use of a Microcontroller used for serial and USB features. The sensor used in HSM-20G for humidity and temperature sense. The communication with the appliances is done through Bluetooth Module called Cytron BlueBee Bluetooth. There are 2 types of connections used viz primary and secondary connections. After the smartphone s BT connection is connected to a personal computer the window GUI will act as a server to forward any data from/to the smart phone and main control. Fig 2: Architecture Of System Fig 2 shows this architecture consist Mobile devices, RFS, Smart door lock application, communication via wifi protocol, main controller, relay circuit, EM lock. In this the communication established in between users smartphone and wifi module and then the MCO controller and from anywhere at anytime the user operate his/her home by application. In this paper, we propose a system, which is very different than the existing system. We are going to implement it with the help of Wi-Fi. The main advantage of this system is that it can be implemented with the wider range of not more than 200 meters. It allows communicating with a brief and small setup without zap wired connection. This system can be extended for a proper HVAC(Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning) system. b. DATA FLOW DIAGRAM This disadvantages are more as compared to the advantages. For instance,the effective area under control from a Bluetooth / module is 100 meters in diameter. The primary and secondary connections which were supposed to be the backbone and the saving face of the system intruded it physically. 4 Fig 3 shows Complete system can be broken into the following modules : Directory module shows the connectivity between Wi-Fi devices and mobile phone. Scanning module will discover surrounding Wi-Fi devices. Communication to mobile phones.security module will send the command messages. Main module will use all the other modules working together to provide the access. VI. DESIGN ARCHITECTURE Class Diagram through password authentication. Then Wi-Fi is switched on with the Wi-Fi router.. and then send the request to controller for close or open the door. VII. CONCLUSION The home automation using Internet of Things has been experimentally proven to work satisfactorily by connecting simple appliances to it and the appliances were successfully controlled remotely through internet. The designed system not only monitors the sensor data, like temperature, gas, light, motion sensors, but also actuates a process according to the requirement, for example switching on the light when it gets dark. It also stores the sensor parameters in the cloud(gmail) in a timely manner. This will help the user to analyze the condition of various parameters in the home anytime anywhere. VIII.
