1 Belridge Secondary College Year 7 Information Technology This semester s work will be based on the Technology & Enterprise outcomes of Information and Information In achieving this outcome, students: The nature of information Understand the form, structure, quality and purpose of information products and processes. The creation of information Apply an understanding of the nature of information when designing and presenting information products and processes to meet a need. Students apply a technology process to create or modify products, processes, systems, services or environments to meet human needs and realise opportunities. Students: Investigate issues, values, needs and opportunities. Devise: Devise and generates ideas and prepare production proposals. Produce: Produce solutions and manage production processes. Evaluate: Evaluate intentions, plans and actions. Assessment Student achievement for Information Technology will be assessed upon demonstrating skills and understandings through the completion of tasks.
