4 Introduction Please review the following revisions and updates that have been included in IHS Enerdeq Browser version For more information, please contact your IHS Customer Care Representative at at the IHS website or call +888 OIL DATA. 4

5 Query/Browse List Update A new display option combines the current Query panel along with a Browse list that will display the results of the query all on the same page. No more skipping back and forth between the Query and the Browse List it s all on one page. The Classic full page layout is still available. We do have plans to remove this legacy display in the future. The Product Updates section of the Enerdeq Home Page will post an announcement regarding this change. After clicking the button at the top of the My Query column, a Try Our New Layout window will display. When generating a Browse List from a Query the first time, you will be presented with the following message when initially building the Query. This message will be accessible in subsequent Browse List sessions. Keep in mind that there are currently two Browse List display options available. The traditional (Classic) option displays a full page of Query results. The new display option combines the current Query panel along with a Browse list that displays the results of the query, all on the same page. 5

6 Clicking the Try New Layout button will open and display the following page: Based on Customer feedback, the customer feedback bar has been moved to the upper right of the Query/Browse page. When we remove the legacy Browse List in the future, this will be removed The Product Updates section of the Enerdeq Home Page will post an announcement regarding this change. The title Browse List has been posted at the top of this list. Query Results counts have also been included in this section. These counts, along with titles of the counts, will change as you select data from the list for further processing. Note the total count will match the query count with the number of additional selections displayed in the Browse List count. To output results from a query, the output buttons at the top of the My Query column are labelled as follows Output All, Send All to Map. The third button will let you Save the query. Send To Map A My Layers entry is built based on the Send to Map dialogue entries. The resulting Map view follows and includes all Map functions. 7

8 Outputs All Output formats including your Custom Templates, have not changed from version 2.10are available as before. Updates to the Rig Activity Query Beginning with version 2.11, the Attribute Search section for the Rig Status attribute now includes new Rig Sub Status options for several Drilling Rig Status options and for several Down Rig Status options. These Rig Sub status options can be used to differentiate multiple Rig Status options. 8

9 Add the criteria into the My Query section on the right side of the page. At this point you can add or remove search criteria to change the focus of the query. Note that the Sub-Status = STAND-BY is new. 9

10 Defects Corrected: A number of application defects have been addressed in the v2.11 release. Significant items include the issue where Client entered values were being persistent across queries. Most important is the reduction of memory usage when executing the CSV formatted Output. This affects all users when multiple CSV outputs are run. The Print to PowerPoint is now available from the Map dialogue: 10

11 Clearing your Cache As new versions of Internet Explorer Browser become available, various actions are needed to ensure proper results from the IHS Enerdeq Browser Application. One such action is the clearing of your computer s cache. The following discussion outlines the procedure to clear the cache for Internet Explorer versions 9 and newer. Internet Explorer To clear your cache: In your IE browser, press the Alt key on your keyboard and then click the Tools menu. Select the Delete Browsing History command. The Delete Browsing History dialog box will display. Check the box next to Temporary Internet Files and then click the Delete button. You will be asked if you are sure you want to delete all temporary Internet Explorer files. Click Yes. When the files have been deleted, click OK. 11

12 Mozilla Firefox To clear your content cache in Mozilla Firefox, go to the bottom of the Mozilla Firefox Start Page. A group of icons display that provide access to various settings. Click the icon to open and display a General page. Click the Advanced option in the index on the left side of the page. 12

13 Click the tab at the top of the page. A Cashed Web Content section displays in the center of this page. Click the button to the right of this section to clear the web content cache. Google Chrome Open the Google start page and click the address bar. icon in the upper tight corner of the In the initial dropdown menu, click the More tools option. This will open a second menu. 13

14 In the second menu, click the Clear Browsing data option to open and display a Clear Browsing Data window. Select a timeframe for the deletion of your cache, and then click the Clear browsing data button. 14
