DataBuyoffAnalysis object changes A new property called StartDelay has been added to the object. This property serves to delay the start of an analysis by the number of intervals entered. Script Compiler changes The script compiler will now recognize VariableMemo object children the same as Variable child objects. It will load these into the script and treat them as passed variables. New Grid object A new object called Grid has been added. This object is used to create, use, and edit a 2-dimensional array of values. Page #2
Properties and Methods Array this property holds the contents of the array Width, Height, Left, and Top these properties retain the current position of the editing form Caption this is the caption on the editing form RowCount and ColumnCount defines the size of the array and grid FixedRows and FixedColumns indicates the number of rows and columns that will be uneditiable. This is typically used for row and column titles. Row and Column used to target a specific cell and set or read the value using GetValue or SetValue. Value the value used for SetValue or GetValue. Redimension method that redimensions the grid array after changing the RowCount or ColumnCount. The existing values will be retained. Clear method that clears the current array, including the fixed columns and rows. GetValue - method that gets the Value from the targeted cell defined by Row and Column. SetValue method that sets the Value to the targeted Edit method to edit the array Page #3
Editing the array You can selected the Edit method to display the grid form. You will only be able to edit the non fixed cells. The grid below has the following settings: RowCount=8 ColumnCount=6 FixedRow=1 FixedColumn=1 Caption= Trend Temps and Rate How to edit the fixed column and row information To edit the fixed rows and column cells, you must first set the FixedColumns and FixedRows to 0, edit the cells, and then return the FixedColumns and FixedRows to 1. Where would I use the Grid? The Grid object can be used for customer scripting solutions that require a NxM dataset. You can programmatically set the values using GetValue and SetValues. Trend icon usage The Grid object is required by the Trend screen s RateVsValueLimitsGrid property. This property allows you to plot min and max rate limits along with the data information. Page #4
Rates-vs-Value limits display on Trend screens The trend screen icon has been enhanced to allow the display of Rate limits for different ranges when displaying the Rates-vs-Value mode. Page #5
Target a Grid object The trend screen uses a pre-configured Grid object as the source of the Value and Rate limit information. The Trend icon s property called RateVsValueLimitsGrid must target the specific Grid object. If a grid is targeted, the Trend will show a Limits button in the upper right of the trend. This button will access the Grid s editing form. Grid values The grid values provide a Name, RangeLow, RangeHigh, MinRate, and MaxRate values. Page #6
Range1-X each row indicates a line segment that will be plotted on the trend. Name Name of the segment. The name will be displayed on the actual plotted line RangeLow starting Value (ie. Temperature) for the segment RangeHigh ending Value for the segment MinRate minimum rate during the specified range MaxRate maximum rate during the specified range Limit display The MaxRate segments will be displayed in RED. The LowRate segments will be diplayed in BLUE. Page #7
Independent Min and Max setup You can setup a range to only report on Min or Max. Just leave one of the cells blank. Page #8
DataAnalyze reporting The reporting trend display has been modified to include the rate limits (see above). You can target a specific Grid object to be used for reporting by entering the path to the Grid object in the property RateVsValueLimitsGrid. This grid object should be different than the object used for normal screen trending. Page #9
