5 Beginning & Ending Odometers Canadian regulations require beginning and ending odometer values to be visible when reviewing drivers logs. In the past, while the odometers were available to view within the KellerMobile applications (within the Diagnostic menu), this was cumbersome, now these values are displayed below the grid log. They are also available within the Duty Status Detail Report. Review Beginning & Ending Odometer Values on View Grid screen The EOBR identifier, along with Beginning and Ending odometer values will be displayed below the Grid Log. Page 5

Vehicle and Trailer Plate Numbers Canadian regulations require that vehicle (truck) and trailer plates be displayed when reviewing drivers logs.

7 Vehicle and Trailer Plate Numbers Canadian regulations require that vehicle (truck) and trailer plates be displayed when reviewing drivers logs. In the past, this was achieved by entering in this extra information into the trailer number field on the trip information screen. This functionality has been enhanced now so that both the Vehicle and Trailer Plate Numbers are now included as separate fields on the Trip Information screen for entry during the login process. Trip Information Trailer and Vehicle plate numbers can be entered along side the rest of the required trip information. Page 7

8 Review and Edit Trip Information Selecting the View Log icon from the dashboard, a user can navigate to the View Trip Info screen, where this information can be reviewed and edited. Page 8

Changing into Hyrail Duty Status From the main dashboard, tap your current status at the top of the screen in the

10 Hyrail Functionality Hyrail functionality allows a user to place themselves into this special driving category, and the time spent in this status will be recorded as On-Duty (not as On-Duty/Driving). Changing into Hyrail Duty Status From the main dashboard, tap your current status at the top of the screen in the green status bar. The New Status screen will be displayed. Select On Duty from the dropdown and check the box labeled Utilize Hyrail Functionality. Page 10

11 Status bar Indication of Hyrail In the green Status bar, your duty status now shows OnDuty - Hyrail. Vehicle in Motion While the vehicle is in motion, the application is locked down. The message bar at the top of the screen lets the user know they are utilizing Hyrail functionality, and the driving clock is greyed out, because time spent in this status does not count against the driving time. 12 Log Remarks Review All On Duty hours that were recorded while using Hyrail will be noted under View Log Remarks; this log remark is added automatically. Ending Hyrail Use Page 12

13 Ending Hyrail use can be done in a couple of ways. 1. By changing duty status; you will be prompted as to whether or not you want to End Hyrail (as in the pop-up message above). 2. Or by shutting off the vehicle; the same pop-up message will be displayed. Page 13

Multi-User Functionality Multi-User Functionality allows multiple KellerMobile users to log in and maintain their HOS records on one device, as opposed to each user needing his/her own device.

14 Multi-User Functionality Multi-User Functionality allows multiple KellerMobile users to log in and maintain their HOS records on one device, as opposed to each user needing his/her own device. The steps below outline the process for logging in, switching between users and logging out and submitting logs to Encompass. Login Process The first driver will login as they normally would. Any subsequent users can simply click on Menu and select Add Additional Users Page 14

15 Switch Between Active Users At the top left of the dashboard screen click on the driver name. You will be able to select one of the users that is currently logged in from the dropdown menu on the Switch Keller Mobile User screen. You can also indicate whether or not this user will be the current driver by selecting the Assume Driving Responsibilities checkbox. Page 15

16 Access While Vehicle is in Motion While the vehicle is in motion, any other users already logged can switch user context by selecting Additional User - Switch on the left hand side and view their hours of service information. Page 16

17 Logout Process When one of the users clicks Log Off they will be logged out and their logs will be submitted. The other users will remain logged in. Each driver will need to log out individually. Page 17

Submit Logs via Check Hours Mode Today, users can log into the Check Hours mode (a view only mode that allows users to review their HOS information without going onduty).

This functionality will allow users to submit logs from this mode, in the event that they forgot to submit at the end of their shift/ day, or were requested to submit logs to Encompass by their administrator during a period of time in which they are off-duty. Check Hours (View Only) Mode In the left hand menu, there is a new menu item labeled Submit Logs. Selecting this item will display a list of any logs that have not been submitted. Page 18

19 Submit Logs Select the logs by selecting the checkbox next to the logs you wish to submit, and then choose the Submit button. Page 19

20 Success Once the logs have been submitted, the user will receive the above Success message. Click OK to dismiss and then select Exit to exit the Check Hours mode. Page 20

21 If no logs exist to submit... If there are no logs that exist on the mobile device that have not already been submitted, the user will receive the above message letting them know there are no logs to submit. US Construction Ruleset This ruleset has been added to KellerMobile. One key special provision in this ruleset is that the required rest break to reset the weekly available hours is 24 hrs (vs standard 34 hour restart). Page 21
