3 1. SUMMARY ICMS is the new Content Management System for the new Pirelli websites. This platform allows you to manage all contents on the Pirelli websites. ICMS has two main areas: 1) Administration area the authorized users can access this area to manage: a. Users access b. Websites configuration 2) Contents Area within this area, the authorized users can manage: a. Menu b. Products c. Content area d. Fitment e. Dealer locator f. Promotion area g. Footer h. SEO tag i. Ecc. Pag. 3
4 Login to ICMS To login on the ICMS, open the following URL in you web browser: Then click on the Login bar and fill the login box with your username and password. Figure 1 Login panel. After the login, the ICMS toolbar will appear. The toolbar lets you to access to all the platform functionalities. Figure 2 ICMS toolbar Pag. 4
5 How to manage a specific Country To manage a specific Country website, choose the website locale path from the Select site field on the top of Toolbar. Figure 3 Change country field Pag. 5
6 2. ADMINISTRATION AREA In the administration area you can manage this module: User management This area allows you to manage the users access to the platform. How to create a new user profile To add a new user, click on the + add user button and fill in the registration form. Figure 4 Add user A new dialog box will open. Pag. 6
7 Figure 4 Add user form The user form registration contains the profile fields (Name, Surname, Company, and password) and the permission settings. Pag. 7
8 In the permission settings is possible to choose: Global Services and/or localization permission (Country). In the Global Services you can set the following permissions: 1) Definition Parameters If active, allows the user to manage the application parameters. 2) Labels - if active, allows the user to manage the labels localization. 3) Page unlock - if active, allows the user to unlock the page. 4) CMS Administration if active, allows the user to manage the ICMS users 5) Global Media Content Repository if active, allows the user to manage all the global images and files. In the tyres/localizazione you can grant permissions for a specific country/language. You can set an access for all the modules installed on the ICMS. In the tyres/localizazione you can set this permissions: 1) MOD Catalog checking this option, the user can manage the Pirelli tyres catalogue 2) MOD Products checking this option, the user can manage the products sheet 3) MOD Menu checking this option, the user can manage the website menu 4) MOD Test Results checking this option, the user can manage the test resuts index 5) MOD Footer checking this option, the user can manage the website footer 6) MOD Dealers Network checking this option, the user can manage the dealer network on the dealer locator 7) MOD Media Content Repository checking this option, the user can manage Media Content repository for this country/language. In this module the user can upload/delete/modify the files 8) MOD Web Site Tree checking this option, the user can manage the websitetree. This module allows to: a. add/delete/modify/move the page Pag. 8

11 Page unlock All pages are locked as soon as a user opens and starts to edit contents. Page lock is required to avoid simultaneously changes and conflicts within a page. Through this section is possible to unlock pages, also the ones locked by another user. To unlock a page, click on the Unlock button and re-open the page that you want to modify. Pag. 11
12 General Parameters This section allows you to manage the application parameters. Parameters can be set both globally and locally through the drop down menu. If a parameter is set as Global, its value will be valid for all the websites. Otherwise Country localized parameters, will override the global value and affects only on the specific Country. Pag. 12
13 Message Broadcaster This module allows you to send a message to all the CMS users, both together and singly. Check the user or users, then write the message in the grey field and press Send message. Pag. 13
14 3. WEBSITE CONTENTS Media Content repository This section allows you to manage images, videos and documents that will be used across the website. You can create folders and subfolders to better categorize the files. To open an existing folder, click on the folder icon. To open subdirectories, click on the left arrow. To upload a new image or document, click on the grey bar Upload a file, the select the file from your local drive. Pag. 14
15 If you right click on the content window, you are allowed to upload both files and videos. Choosing videos, you must provide a valid YouTube ID to proceed: Pag. 15
16 Right click on the folder window, to add a new file, a new folder, a new video or to remove the selected element from the tree. Pag. 16
17 Web site tree In this sections are listed all the website pages, organized in folders and subfolders and ordered according to the website content tree. A dashboard provides all the relevant informations such as the page name, page title, page status, last modification date, name of the editor that has worked on the current page version and the revert option that let the user to rollback to a previous published version. Dashboard options and informations Throught the right click over folders or pages, you can access to different options: Available options for folders: Pag. 17
18 - Add a new folder - Add a new file in the selected folder - Move: once this option has been selected, drag the folder in another position. - Delete: you must confirm to remove the folder. - Publish all pages in the folder. - Available options for pages: - Open page in a new window. Page will be displayed in user navigation mode. - Duplicate Pag. 18
19 - Duplicate & Move - Move - Delete - Publish - Unpublish Creating new pages To create a new page, right click on a web site tree folder and choose the Add new file option. A dialog box will open. Pag. 19
20 Choose the new page type: - Template website - Landing page - In the right window, click on the directory in which you would create the new page. Pag. 20
21 Then write the new page name in the left box. Under the Page Relative URL will be shown the new relative path in which the page will be created. At last, choose the preferred page template: - Light product catalogue - Summer test - Winter test page - Free sample page - Search by size - Simple page with menu - Splash page - Contacts page - Simple page without menu - Hub page - Product sheet page - Magazine article page - Magazine index page Pag. 21

23 Page templates and tools Page templates are available every time you need to create a new page. For each template, you will find a unique set of tools specifically created to fit the template structure. To use a tool, simply drag it on the stage until you see an highlight. When you release the tool, an new object will be created on the stage. Depending on the object type, you can choose between modal editing or inline editing. You can modify modal editable objects throught the pencill icon located in the object toolbar: [IMAGE NEEDED] Inline editable objects can be modify by double clicking on the object area. [IMAGE NEEDED] Light product catalogue This template provides three types of tools: tool strip, box editorial product and background. Pag. 23
24 Tool strip This is a menu tool in which you can add a title and links. To add a new link, write the label text in the 1st link class text box, then click on the blue label The 1st link. Fill in the required informations. Depending on the type of link your are going to create, you can choose between internal or external links. For internal links you have to choose a file from the Media Content Repository (MCR) or a page from the website tree. For external links, instead, fill in the Link text box with a URL that includes the prefix. Pag. 24

27 How to modify a page Right click on the page icon to enter in the context menu, then choose Open page : A new page will open in user navigation mode. Click on the Edit page button located at the right in the toolbar Entering the edit mode will lock the page and another user will not be able to modify it at the same time. In the edit mode a tool box is shown at the bottom right of the page. You can drag and drop each box on the stage to add some elements to the page. There are different elements for every page template. Page templates can be set only when a page is created. Pag. 27
28 Once a box is dropped on the stage, a new content item will appear. There are two different ways to edit contents, depending on the item type. The first one is accessible by clicking on the pencil located in the item toolbar, highlighted in the image below: A new dialog box will open. You can choose to add a new item or edit the existing one Pag. 28
29 throught the Edit button. It is also possible to remove the item. Clicking on the Edit button will update the dialog box and show all the available options for the selected item. Edit the item contents, then click on the Save button when done. Pag. 29
30 The second way to edit contents, is to directly click on the object located on the stage In this example, a text editor will appear and the text will become editable. To save changes on the page, click out of the editor area and then choose the Save or the Save & Unlock button located under the icms toolbar. Pag. 30
31 Labels This module helps to localize text labels in each of the following contexts: - Catalog - Contact - Dealer - Fitment - Footer - General - Home page - Product sheet - Search - Splash page Pag. 31
32 Once the labels are saved, it is required to publish localization through the button Publish Localization : then the localized text will appear directly in the page, as shown in the following example: Pag. 32

34 Product The Product management module allows you to associate each product to the correspondent editorial informations. You can choose between the following BU: - Car - Truck - Moto - Motorsport Add a new product For each listed BU, you can add new products. To proceed, click on the New Product button: Pag. 34
35 A new dialog page will open. Data can be added in each accordion, divided according to the following schema: - Product General data o Path page o Product code o Product name o Main product logo: 3 formats required o All the images for the box Pag. 35

37 o View tab: activate o Tab name o Title o Description o Visible: activate - Related product: you can add or remove related items o Product code o Visible: activate Edit an existing product To edit an existing product, click on the edit button. Edit all needed contents, as described for new products. Pag. 37
38 Publish and Disable products For each product you can choose the following options: - edit; - enable / disable; - publish / unpublish. Pag. 38
39 Promotions In this area is possible to manage both new and existing promotions. To create a new promotion, click on the + New Promotion button, then fill in the required informations in the editor pane. Pag. 39

41 Once the promotion has been created, you can choose between the following options: - Edit: the editor pane opens. Is possible to change the promo informations. - Enable / disable: Enables or disables the page. - Publish / unpublish: Pag. 41
42 Test results This section allows you to create and manage the test results pages. All the existing promotions are shown divided into two groups: Summer and Winter. To add a new test result, click on the New test result button on the top of the page. A new page will open. Fill in the required informations: - Test name - Seasonality - Product - Page sorting - Test result position label Pag. 42
43 - Media name - Date - Media logo (3 images required) - Vehicle image (3 images required) - Vehicle name - Link - Is New Click on the Save button when done. To edit an existing test result, click on the Edit button to open the edit page. Pag. 43
44 Menu This section allows you to manage the website menu, from the first to the fourth level. Available actions are: - + Add menu item : add a new first level menu - Edit: allows you to change label, position order, internal or external page URL, target, class type of the menu. - Second level: allows you to add a second level menu. - Delete: remove the selected menu and all the submenus. To create a third level menu, click on the Second level button to view the second level list. Choose the menu in which you want to create the third level, then choose the Add menu item button to complete. You can repeat this action until the fourth level menu has been created. Pag. 44

46 Footer This section allows you to create all the footers needed for each website section. Select the + Add footer item to create a footer. A new page will open. Fill in with the footer title, then click Save. Once you have created the new footer, you should add some pages to the list: press the layer button, a new page will open. Pag. 46
47 This page contains the footer preview, as would be visible to all the website users. To modify the footer, click on the Edit page button located on the top right. The tool box will appear on the bottom right. Pag. 47
48 The tool box contains two elements named Footer link and Sub link. To edit the footer drag and drop the elements on the stage: - Footer link: adds a menu list in the top area (CAR list, MOTORCYCLE list, etc.) - Sub link: adds menu items in the bottom area (Contact us, work with us, etc.) When the edit is completed, you need to Save and Unlock page to save before exit. Otherwise if you need to exit without save the changes, simply click on the Unlock button located on the top right. Pag. 48
49 Dealer network This section allows you to link one or more dealer networks in the dealer locator map To create a new dealer network, click on the + New Dealer Network button located on the top left of the list. Pag. 49
