2 Welcome to ANSI STANDARDS CONNECT. This is the Home Page for the Portal. The Home Page is your starting point to your subscription access. Hello, User Name

3 Your Home page is customizable! You company administrator can add your company logo and important messages for your users. Hello, User Name

4 Your Home page also provides ANSI News and Events as well as external links to additional resources.

5 From the Home Page you will be able to; Search and Browse standards Read Important messages View My Alerts View My Favorites Manage Lists Access Help Log Out And use many other features and functions. Hello, User Name

8 Contact Link to contact our customer service department.

9 Help Link to Standards Connect Quick Guide.

10 Logout Very important to exit the ANSI STANDARDS CONNECT portal when you are done.

11 My Profile Link to access your personal user registration information.

12 Accessing standards can be done via Browse, Search or Saved Lists. Hello, User Name

13 VIEW MY DOCUMENTS Quick link to browse all documents that are currently in your subscription.

14 VIEW MY DOCUMENTS Listing results of all subscribed to standards where you can further browse, refine or access documents.

15 SEARCH standards You can quickly access standards of interest by performing a search.

16 SEARCH standards Select the tab for Document Number to search only in the standard document number field.

17 SEARCH standards Even if you only know a partial document number, type the number and an autopopulated drop down of suggested standards you can select from will be shown.

18 SEARCH standards Select the tab for Keyword to search on keywords that pertain to the document that you are trying to locate.

19 SEARCH standards You can limit your search results to what is in your subscription. Simply click the radio button to My Subscription and the search is conducted only on documents within your subscription.

20 SEARCH standards You can run searches on the entire ANSI STANDARDS CONNECT catalog. Simply click the radio button to select Full Catalog and the search is conducted on all documents.

21 Additional Search Filters Additional search filters are available after a search is performed.

22 Additional Search Filters You can further refine your search results to specific Content Providers content by simply clicking on the desired box.

23 SEARCH Example In this search example, we have selected the tab to perform a Document Number and selected the radio button for a Full Catalog search on To execute the search we hit the search button.

24 SEARCH Example Results Once we perform the search we can further refine our search results by selecting specific Content providers and/or Status boxes.

25 SEARCH Results Display The standards that meet our search criteria are displayed with valuable detail and navigation options.

26 SEARCH Results Navigation Users can select the number of items displayed on a page. Pages can easily be navigated using the page numbers found on the top and bottom of the results listing.

27 SEARCH Results Status Search results readily show the Status of the standards.

28 SEARCH ResultsAccess Search results readily show which standards are immediately available for download and those that must be purchased because they are not in the subscription.

29 SEARCH Results Purchase Option Simply click on the PURCHASE button to be taken to a page with retail purchase options for the standard.

30 Individual standard purchase With a deposit account set-up as part of your ANSI STANDARDS CONNECT portal you can purchase an individual standard by simply reading and agreeing to the Terms of Use and selecting the DOWNLOAD button.

31 SEARCH Results Document Access Simply click on the download button to access the standard in pdf format.

32 Record Details Description Clicking the Records Details Description tab provides the standards abstract and other general information about the standard.

33 Record Details Related Documents Clicking the Records related Documents tab provides links to the standards amendments, corrigenda and referenced standards.

34 Record Details Other Versions Clicking the Other Versions tab provides links to the standards previous and post versions if applicable.

35 Record Details Permalink Clicking the Permalink tab allows you to generate a link to the most current version of the standard. This link can be copied and pasted in internal documentation.

36 Additional Function Links Provide you quick links to browse all documents in lists you have created.

37 MYALERTS is your quick link to browse all documents you have selected to be alerted on when a change to a standard is made.

38 MYALERTS You can select to be alerted to changes to selected standards or to all standards you subscribe to.

39 MYALERTS You can also select standards to be alerted to changes to from any search results lists by simply clicking on the alarm clock icon. When theicon is green it is an indication that the standard is part of your Alert list.

40 MYALERTS You can select to be alerted to changes in standards that are part of your subscription and/or part of the ANSI STANDARDS CONNECT catalog.

41 MY FAVORITES is your quick link to browse all documents you have selected as your favorites.

42 MY FAVORITES You can select standards to create a list of favorite standards. The standards selected can be a part of your subscription and/or part of the ANSI STANDARDS CONNECT catalog.

43 MY FAVORITES You can select standards to be added to your Favorites lists by simply clicking on the star icon. When the icon is green it is an indication that the standard is part of your Favorites list.

44 WATCH LISTS is your quick link to create and view lists of standards you create or are shared by others.

45 WATCH LISTS You can create a new Watch List or modify an existing list. To create a new list simply click the link and fill in the appropriate information.

46 WATCH LISTS You can select standards to be added to a Watch List by simply clicking on the list icon. When the icon is green it is an indication that the standard is part of a Watch List.
