2 WinClient (WinC) Changes Change Added an option to app.xml which allows a PDF file to be converted into a TIF/JPG image on an import or when using the Index capture window. Account names are now listed in alphabetical sorted order in Ad-Hoc processes. Canon DR-C225 scanner added. Fulltext search behavior changed for Asian languages. New extended Index field property Hyperlink added. Added an option to app.xml which allows to ask the user if documents should be combined. Scripts result visualization enhanced. The applied Process management filter is displayed in the Inbox when the Process management filter is used. Added an option to app.xml which forces a jump to the Document type node inside the Tree view when clearing Index fields. Added extended Index field Auto action: Set to user Full name Display document type description tooltip and field description as field label tooltip. Added a button in the context menu on Document lists which allows to add a new file to the document. Stamp hotkeys implemented. Checkboxes for thumbnails added to save or print the selected pages. Added the missing message when trying to delete a document that is already a member of active processes. Fix Fixed a Time offset issue when displaying EDOCs with the Stellent viewer. Moving documents from DocType A to DocType B and then performing an UNDO- Checkout moves the documents back to DocType A but leaves them in Checked-Out state on the Local documents list. Problem fixed that PDF files were increasing when doing a Save to file or Send to . Move/Copy on duplicate view did not always work. Drag n Drop of hitlist documents into the control box area did not always work. DocTypeViews did not affect the Inbox. Problem solved when adding Microsoft Excel documents to the WinClient per Drag n Drop or Officelink. Problem solved with OCRDetails that are created with a pre V3 version of FileDirector. Fixed an Out of memory exception when browsing the pages of some PDF files. Optimize import of colored Multipage TIFF files. Problem with Keyword lists in the Index Capture window solved. Problem solved with the OCR-Index WinClient Plugin when viewing PDF files with the internal viewer. Refresh behavior fixed when a new document is added per Drag n Drop and the Inbox is open. Hitlist printing issues solved. Problem solved when an should be sent that contains an attachement with more than 1 page. Performance issue solved when displaying a.pdf with lots of pages. In Edit mode you had to click 2 times on the pin to open the Memo field. Problem solved with PDF signatures. Process management problem solved when using the User action Ask user. Drag n Drop a Thumbnail to the hitlist did not work. Problem solved when manually entering Process Management comments. Performance problem solved when saving changes on large documents.

Problem solved when using a Backslash as a character in a keyword. Fixed missing Microsoft Office 2013 Theme selection in the Client configuration. Problem solved when selecting a MailStore Document type inside the MailStore Scheduler configuration. Problem solved when creating more than one COLD Template. Canceling the Add favourite window did not work as expected. Cabinet icon not directly visible after importing from a Cabinet structure. Selecting the Field separator option in the OCR Form caused an exception. Fixed a problem with the WinClient Plugins configuration in the Client configuration. Process management function Append new link was not displayed correctly inside the Process designer.

4 Web Service (Server) Changes Change Added an option to web.config which allows a partial field filter match. Added an option to web.config which allows a PDF file to be converted into a TIF/JPG image during a scheduler import. Added an option to web.config which allows cabinet filtering. Optimized handling of incorrect index entries in a.csv file during File and Index import. Fix Problem solved in Process management Conditional branch when no condition matches. Problem solved when moving a document from a Mailbox document type to a revisioning document type in Process management. Fixed a workflow issue when the server is under high load. Fixed an incorrect Error message when cleaning up Storage locations through a Container run. A user was not able to delete an Ad-Hoc process when full rights were denied on the cabinet. Problem solved when setting index values in linked Keyword lists via scheduler. The fail branch of the Process management Auto action Send to was not used. The Retention control scheduler did not start up correctly. An index field which was configured as Keyword and coming from an ODBC source was not populated when the Keyword was read via OCR. A : in a password when using basic authentication caused a server exception. Under some conditions it could be that the Webservice crashes when retrieving accounts. LDAP account importer missed links between groups in very complex scenarios. Problem solved with the Global Counter synchronization. Cancellation of pending documents could cause a reference left behind in the UserDocs table. Fixed the slow document retrieval performance when a document is split over multiple Sub-Ids. Fixed an Error message that occurred under some conditions when using Plug-Ins in Client profiles Change User docs retrieval speeded up. Added 4 new Process management tags which allow to embed Process management comments. Fix Append/Prepend/Replace action failed on Check-in. Scheduler didn t set description in Activities.

5 WebServer Changes Change Added new automatic field actions when creating new documents. Added EN(US), Japanese, Chinese (Traditional) and Chinese (Simplified) to language selection. Fix Fixed the upload.aspx SharePoint link. Problem solved when the Webserver cache is on an UNC path. Fix for.zip files that contain two files with the same filename. Using the Adobe Acrobat Reader could overlay message boxes. DocType change in Edit mode was not implemented. Problem solved with caching accounts. SearchViewEnableIndexSearch in web.config not working. DocumentViewShowIndex in web.config not working.

6 Component Service (CS) / EDoc Engine Changes Fix Command bar not showing up in Microsoft Outlook Added missing message if the FileDirector ImagePrinter is not installed. Added a fix when using the TeamViewer Meeting Addin causing the FileDirector Officelink buttons to always show English button captions.

7 OCR Engine Changes Fix Fixed an Anchor problem with large images.

8 s and Changes FileDirector requires the Microsoft.NET Framework 4.5. Microsoft Windows XP and Microsoft Windows Server 2003 are no longer supported. A combination of FileDirector WinClient and FileDirector Server is still supported. Type Module Server, EM, WebServer New license group Web user allows to exclude user(s) from unlimited web access. Change Server New license option SharePoint added. Server New scheduler option to start scheduler directly with server start. Change Server Scheduler: ODBC index import can be linked with document GUIDs. Change Server Scheduler: XML/File import configuration improved - more than one entry can be set up in the XML file. Change Server, WinC Process management: interaction between clients and server has been improved. Server, EM Search result size can be limited per cabinet. Windows 8 App The user is informed about his FileDirector personal inbox via push notifications. Change WebServer Linked documents are supported. EM The Enterprise Manager has a new look & feel. User favourites can be set up to allow a quick access to often used setting windows. EM, Server Server activities can be cancelled. EM New user and group display allows grouping of displayed data. Change EM, Server XML Import Scheduler with full node path support.

9 WinC Thumbnails can be viewed in cover flow mode. Change WinC PDF file is signed when document is signed. WinC, EM Plug Ins can be excluded from being started. WinC, EM CodelessConnector is able to read selected text. WinC, EM Scanner drivers DR-C120 / DR-C130 have been added. EM Keywords: Usage calculation and updating of documents when deleting or changing keywords.
