5 Web Platform Key Features AIM Asset Register Role Based Security Upgrade The asset register navigation has been changed to enhance the navigation introduced in previous releases and to standardise the security model for accessing asset information. The asset enquiry and asset register navigation have been consolidated so that the search results from either are consistent. The asset detail form has been upgraded to not show ring menus and other unnecessary navigation links. The addition of the 'asset control' centre link allows the asset officer to maintain the asset from the detail screen provided that officer has access to the 'asset control centre' menu item. 'The Document Central' function has been added to the asset detail screen allowing the asset officer to add and view existing documents (including documents held in some document management systems). The security model has been changed to simply match the users role against the asset (node) role. If access is allowed the information icon will appear beside the asset description and selecting this will return the asset detail form - if not then no icon will appear but the user can 'drill' through the level to lower levels of the asset hierarchy Plant Cloning From Asset Creation The asset officer can auto create plant items during asset creation. This is similar to the auto create function for the CVR record and will rely on the CVR clone record link to a clone plant item. The asset classification allows definition of CVR link/clone rules. If the rule is clone then a CVR record is nominated to clone. The new function will check if the CVR record is linked to a plant record and if so will clone the plant item. The description will be as per the asset/cvr record. The asset creation confirmation page will note that a plant record is to be created. 6 Web Platform Key Features Mobile Computing Mobile Computing Major enhancements have been made to the Tablet user interface that allows field officers to complete all of their work within the Map mode. These enhancements mean that: The spatial data for any mobile applications an officer has access to can be selected and viewed simultaneously on the map. For example, assets, defects and weeds can all display at the same time. Changes or additions can be made to any of the features displayed on the map. An individual feature can be selected, the feature's data can be edited, memos and notes added, checklists completed, images attached and sketches made, whilst the map and the feature remain displayed on the interface. New features can be added. After plotting a new feature on the map, forms that are relevant to the type of feature added will be available for the field officer to complete in Map mode. Mobile Infringements has been improved to provide a warning to field officers that they are running low on tickets to issue. The warning will display when there are five tickets remaining and on each subsequent issue of a ticket. The warning indicates the number of tickets remaining and advises that a synchronization should be performed at the next opportunity. The Animal catalogue has been enhanced to include three additional fields that can assist the field officer when viewing animal details and issuing animal infringements. The fields are: owner's middle name, owner's date of birth and whether or not the animal has a valid registration with council.
